Herman Cain leads by 20 points!

Cain probable is not %100 American black. Most southern blacks have some White and American Indian DNA.
Ah....no. "Black" is a formally defined term in the US.

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/jefferson/mixed/onedrop.html

It has to be, so we can figure out who gets affirmative action and all that other groovy free stuff, you know?

So I qualify as black, but don't choose to be such. Obama qualifies, and chooses to call himself such.

That nonwithstanding, Cain had 2 black parents, and 4 black grandparents, etc.

Etc.

Nope, born and raised in America (as were both my parents (one of my grandparents and all of my great grandparents were from the old country - I hope that doesn't make me less of an actual American)).

Who is an "actual American", anyway? The definition of that phrase can range from "someone who is a pure-blood descendant of those who became citizens when the nation was formed" to "someone who is a citizen, natural-born or naturalized".

Lots of opportunity in that phrase for a person to choose a definition that suits their argument.

You all realize that the only point to Cain, Perry, Bachmann and Santorum running is to make Romney seam reasonable by comparison.

I hope not, because...

Going back this morning to the site I've been using, I found the following poll average results:

Romney 22.5%
Cain 22.0
Gingrich 14.2
Perry 9.8
Paul 8.2
Bachmann 3.7
Santorum 1.5
Huntsman 1.0
Undecided (by implication) 17.1

Romney (22.5%) = 22.5% for reason

Cain (22.0%) + Perry (9.8%) + Bachmann (3.7%) + Santorum (1.5%) = 37.0% for unreason

Yeah, they. Them. Like "Hope" and "Change We Can Believe In"?
That's not a simplistic slogan. It's a deeply meaningful, emotionally resonating statement of feeling in accordance with Gaia and in symphony with the stars themselves, by which the Chosen One shall heal the earth, and the rise of the oceans cease and the oceans begin to receed.

Do not stray from faith in the Chosen One, brother, lest the evil oil lovers of the Dark Side take your soul, and ye be condemned to an eternity in the rank hold of the Exxon Valdez. Be green, and be happy, and think not too wisely or too deeply.

Wait, so let me get this right. YOU'RE black? As in you have recent ancestry from Africa??

I retract "the" in correction and preference for "a".

OK. If I may ask for a clarification: is Mr. Cain more of a nightmare than Mr. Romney or Gov. Perry or Congressman Paul?

Cain is already successfully tarnished now. Plus, a greater and continued spotlight now has exposed his shallowness also... I think he's done while it may take a few weeks more yet to become obvious.. even to him.

Dems have and do continue to expect Romney, and probably rightfully so.

The Department of Public Information will unload on him if and when the time is right, you can be sure.

In the meantime... here comes Newt... and I think I like him more than ever.

Yeah, Cain is dead meat now. Gingrich looks hot right now, but he has quite a few skeletons that are rattling to get out of the closet. If Romney doesn't release them, you can bet Obama will. Plus, many Republicans have not completely forgiven him for being pwned by Bill Clinton.
Republicans lost five seats in the House in the 1998 midterm elections—the worst performance in 64 years for a party that didn't hold the presidency. Polls showed that Gingrich and the Republican Party's attempt to remove President Clinton from office was widely unpopular among Americans.

Newt absolutely is vulnerable and beatable,

however, he can also boldly and easily handle and eliminate all or most of his personal objections

as adroitly and adeptly as he is handling every other question lately.

And he will destroy Obama in any head-to-head.

Odd how many die hard liberals think Romney is sort of okay.

Obviously we need someone other than Romney.

No more needs be said.
