He doesn't seem to have quite given up the cause yet, as he implies he's now a LIHOPper.

If he's not celebrating April Fools a few months early, it's definately a good sign.

So Lyte Trip did something with his "evidence" after all. Not exactly the outcome he was after.
Now that PDoherty says the conspiracy is stupid, I may have to rethink my position.

If he's sincere about this, I think his account(one of them anyways) should be unbanned. I think having him here might be helpful for future debunking as we would know what issues actually made him change his mind, and what he considered the strongest debunking points on those issues. In other words, if there is a taboo issue that CTers dont like to talk about - we should focus on those issues and stay away from the stuff they won't budge on..
 
I would say "no" to revoking the ban.

User bans aren't based upon someones beliefs. Christophera, for example, is one of the nuttiest of the bunch but by and large he has upheld the forum rules and is allowed to continue posting here. Pdoherty's behavior, not his beliefs, are what got him banned and I think that's what Lisa S., Darat and the others will say if the issue is brought up with them.

Not AFAIK. I did see a rumour that some of the witnesses got wind of what he was saying about them and refused permission to publish their statements.

I don't think PDoh should be unbanned just because he changed his mind about CTs. He is probably still as arrogant and abusive as ever.
 
Agree with what SOT says - he should stay banned.

If he's being straight, then fair play to the guy, he's thought critically.

I'm sure Lyte will say "the conspirators" got to "his witnesses" and either bribed or threatened them.

I realize that his socks are all banned because he was/is trying to circumvent his suspension, but I dont recall why his very first account was suspended, anyone remember? Was it that much worse than what other CTers routinely get away with? I may be in the minority here, but I've found Docker/Jessica/Laith/PDoh to be one of the more tolerable CTers(if there is such a thing), even if he is extremely juvenile. I would take PDoh, even as a CTer, every day of the week and twice on Sunday over 28th, geggy, 7snakes, TS1234, etc...

I do agree with you for the most part, rules are rules - but I'm also big on second chances......However, If the JREF mods think that the bridge has been burned to the ground and cannot be repaired, then I support their decision to uphold PDohs banning
