Since when does Hamas provide warnings? Is this regarded as progress?
wrong.
not sure if there is a lot of money in it as most of the practitioners do it for free.Yeah sorry. Mea culpa.
BTW, when am I going to be paid for my irrational and relentless support of Israel? Surely you're on the payroll Wildcat?
Hmmmm...every law passed since the end of WW!? quite a few to cite...Can you cite the law that changed that? If not, what's different?
nope... They are not an independant state. They are a mob of stateless arabs allowed limited autonomy by Israel.Hamas rules an undeclared an unrecognized state. Barring international relations, they have the exact same powers as they would in an independent and sovereign state. There is no special law for such cases and no reason not to be able to apply the laws that govern international conflict as it is.

wow...a talking tree. Am I supposed to take threats from talking trees seriously? You are quite right. The charter does not specifically limit the killing of Jews to Israeli Jews.
"The time will not come until Muslims will fight the Jews (and kill them); until the Jews hide behind rocks and trees, which will cry: O Muslim! there is a Jew hiding behind me, come on and kill him!"
Thunder,
In WW1, britain imposed a blockade in Germany.
Was that illegal?
I don't know about anybody else, but I certainly do. War is a nasty business. Hamas is at war with Israel. Therefore they do all sorts of nasty things to and against Israel.how come we don't excuse Hamas's actions with "War's a nasty business" ?
lovely prose.I don't know about anybody else, but I certainly do. War is a nasty business. Hamas is at war with Israel. Therefore they do all sorts of nasty things to and against Israel.
By the same token--indeed, whether they like it or not--Israel is at war with Hamas. Now that we're all agreed that the two parties are at war, Israel's nasty behavior towards Hamas (and the civilians under Hamas's care) makes a lot more sense, doesn't it?
And now that we're all agreed that the two parties are at war, it remains only for you to realize which party you wish to win this war, and what you will do to help them win.
I suppose (in the grand Swiss tradition) you could remain neutral, but in that case you may want to consider carefully what you say on the subject of this war, lest your neutrality turn out to be a sham, and your preference for one side or the other become obvious.

statehood.....but....if they ask for the advantages of statehood it quickly vanishes again.
sorry...I thought it was you that was saying that Israel can blockade gaza because we blockaded germany in ww1?A rather pathetic straw man. In good faith: the law that prohibits blockading a hostile belligerent.
such as control of thier own borders...airspace....international law that applies to nation states....Such as?

Before anyone sells me a puppy I get to see the puppy.
Before anyone gets my support for winning a war they need to tell me what they think "winning" means.
Good point.
What do you think "winning" means for Hamas?
I would say its probably the destruction of the state of Israel as a "jewish" state and the establishment of an islamist state (that they would run). But I think I probably have more chance of shagging a supermodel than that ragtag of bigmouths achieving anything like that. I don't think that is the views of "Mr average Palestinian." ..I think they are probably more aligned with what I think the Abbas factions definition of "winning" would be. The Establishment of the Palestinian state on something close to the 1967 borders with east Jerusalem as its capital.
what part of Israel? Loonie right? Mainstream? What do YOU think...Alright.
What do you think "winning" means for Israel?
I'd respond to this if it made sense.Butchering civilians through terror attacks is ok, I guess.
War's a nasty business after all.
Peephole apparently uses the same school of "thought" as Thunder, whereby blowing up civilians in a cafe, or bashing in the head of a toddler after killing his mother in front of him, is the moral equivalent of not having cheese doodles or coriander on store shelves.I'd respond to this if it made sense.
