OMG i dont know if your just trying to be annoying or actually serious. I said it as an example but you guys focused on it literally instead of thinking 'out side the box'. Now imagine having a plane fly like a bee (as seen in the movie avatar pretty much) a few years ago or now and not knowing people are working on it today to make it a reality.

It's amazing what they're doing with something that can only heat up the ionosphere these days. I wonder if these same geniuses can make a time machine out of a toaster.

rorylee, you may not care much about spelling, punctuation and grammar, and perhaps your usual cyberspace haunts don't care if you're less intelligible than Arnold Schwarzenegger, but the JREF forums are more serious than most places on the internet. This is a forum meant for intelligent discussion, not juvenile textspeak and grade-school spelling.
And the plain fact is that the quality of your posts directly affects how you are perceived. If you can't even spell "people" correctly, most of the posters here aren't going to bother reading the rest of your post. After all, you didn't even bother to figure out how to phrase yourself correctly. Why should we believe that the actual argument is going to be any better?
No matter how intelligent you are, or how great your argument is, if you can't take thirty extra seconds to make sure that you haven't placed any horrible violations of the English language in your post, no one is going to take you seriously.

Ive already built a reputation here and i guess ppl are going to read what i say no matter what for a good debate, atleast i hope so i can understand where you coming from but in the end i still dont care that much for it. Ill try abit harder however for others convenience tho but i cant promise anything, im just used to typing this way.

In the 90's, Popular Science said we'd all be using flying cars by now.

Even if scientists WERE able to do the "make an earthquake on command using water" thing, what would HAARP have to do with that? Do you know where HAARP is? In order to create the earthquake using this highly questionable method, the water would have to be applied directly to the area of the fault where you wanted the earthquake to happen. Being that Haiti is an island completely surrounded by an ocean, I'm not sure how you'd be able to apply MORE water to the fault than already seeps down into it naturally.

kinda like the Osprey but better yet again. Im talking about the way a bee flys and putting it into motion on a plane for better moving performance.. it was on a news program here in Australia last year.
