Guiliani Suspended from Practicing Law

Seems to me it's a given ... but I could be wrong.

There seems to be a lot of smart people that agree with your opinion.

In his court filing where Rudy's admitted that he defamed Ruby Freeman and her daughter Shay Moss he wrote that the admission was to be used only for this court case.

It doesn’t work that way. Rudy knows this. A statement made under oath in a civil case is a statement made under oath in criminal cases as well. It's not up Rudy to say who, where and how his testimonies might be used. It amounts to a confession in the J6 and Georgia criminal cases.

And considering that this admission amounts to a confession in crimes that have decades long sentences, you and they are probably right. Rudy has flipped.

it's kind of hard to say who truly believed the election fraud lies. mike lindell does, for example. these investigations have came up with a lot of evidence in the forms of text messages and emails and such that not everyone directly involved in the efforts did.

so if you're rudy giuliani and you're being sued for defamation, and there happens to be some documented communications that you knew it was all false but were saying it anyway, well, maybe it gets worse?

Thus, Plaintiffs do not need any additional discovery or sanctions regarding striking Giuliani’s answer based on his concession of facts establishing liability.”

Georgia GOP election official Gabriel Sterling pointed out on Twitter Thursday that Giuliani’s statement puts to rest any notion of “widespread voter fraud” during the 2020 presidential election.

“Rudy Giuliani admits that he lied about Shaye Moss & Ruby Freeman,” he wrote. “We’ve known for years that he lied about them and the events at State Farm Arena. For those that still believe there was widespread voter fraud, these people are admitting they lied to you.”

He's hoping for a pardon if Trump is ...shudder...elected.

It's amazing how the advocates of zero tolerance cave when they're in trouble themselves. Joe Arpaio should have gone to prison, but he snatched at the Get Out of Jail Free card Trump gave him. It's almost as if they're contemptible hypocrites.

They are not hypocrites, since they don't believe in the fundamentals of the Rule of Law, i.e. one law for everyone.
Instead, they believe in Privilege, literally, a private law for them, and a common law for everyone else.

And what's that if it's not hypocrisy, for those who argue for zero tolerance?

take a look at how cops are treated compared to other citizens - they routinely get away with murder, because they have special privileges to use a firearm in a deadly manner in circumstances no other civilian would be allowed to.
That's because many people believe that in order to do their job, cops must be exempt from certain laws.

People like Trump and Arpaio think exactly the same, namely that in order to do their job, they must be immune from all consequences. And their supporters agree with them.
The question of zero tolerance against them never arises, since they were never in a category where anyone but God would have had the authority to consider the legality of their actions.

I can see this, but for my money, advocating zero tolerance without explicit exceptions and then making themselves exceptions is hypocrisy.

Trying to hide the fact that there was widespread voter fraud, used to elect Kemp and Raffenspberger.

That's the real reason they pushe back against T**** in 2020, they had their own scamola going and didn't want him exposing it.

Evidence of this? I'm so tired of people making accusations and not providing evidence for them.

"Trump is headlining a $100,000-per-person fundraiser for Giuliani next week at his Bedminster, New Jersey, golf resort, according to an invitation for the event." - CNN

Didn't Trump say he would help pay for Giuliani's legal fees? I guess other people paying is his idea of help.

That's if anyone pays.

...and if Giuliani sees any of the proceeds - I'm sure that Bedminster has a number of costs which will have to be recouped before the intended beneficiary gets any cash.

How much is Trump charging for the use of the facilities?

All of it, of course. Trump will collect all the money and, when he feels like he doesn't need or want the money himself, pass some of it along to Giuliani. All Giuliani needs is for Trump to not be a greedy moneyhungry jerk for once.

I hope he holds his breath while waiting for that to happen.
