He didn't clarify a single thing relative to the question - "Where/what is the current evidence a God Exists?"
i was letting bikerdruid know that you clarified your original post

What is your belief based on?
Are you saying evolution is a design mistake?Evolution. I accept that evolution is right . . .
. . . Evolution there really is no natural necessity for it in the way the universe was made.
You think it's a good idea to reach conclusions from what you don't know rather than what you do?Signs (for me) point to some kind of designer. I said before, i see god more in the unknown.
So you were. Sorry my bad.i was letting bikerdruid know that you clarified your original post

So you merely have a hunch a god exists?my own experience with life, ideas, intuition.
call it a hunch.![]()
Evolution. I accept that evolution is right, but there are a couple things in evolution i don't get. Possibly just ignorance on my behalf, but I've tried to find answers via research, and haven't found anything that popped out. I don't understand the jump from asexual reproduction to sexual reproduction. asexual reproduction is a far more efficient means of reproduction, evolutionary jump to sexual reproduction would be a step backwards.
This was recently discovered. Sexual reproduction provides a wider variety of genetic material in the offspring. This is beneficial because certain harmful agents (I think viruses) that affect a given range of DNA will more likely cause extinction amongst a species with little variation.
I'm not going to bother looking up links because I have no idea how this is relevant to the OP. Even taken as a given that every single thing science tells us is wrong, from evolution to the water cycle, it doesn't mean God is real.
Not me but I remember reading it. There's something wrong with "god the tinkerer" but I can't explain it right now. Seems to be the opposite of what a god is normally claimed to be.No, i still think of god as a tinkerer, was it you who said my idea was "god of hindsight"
Fixed that for you.no, its horriblesciencesense. I should be ashamed of myself, i know this. But its my belief, and I may be just trying to rationalize them.
Sorry I'm a bit slow today.I think the "he clarifies here" refers to your clarification.
Then again, it's entirely possible he isn't.
Sorry I'm a bit slow today.
Where did the female come from for Cain and Abel to mate with?yeah i have seen that. what i don't get is the first generation, so this asexual creature splits into 2 sexual creatures, wouldn't they both be the same sex. evolution doesn't take place on a large scale, so 1 or 2 out of millions change to sexual, i just don't get how it caught on so well,,, almost everything has sex now

So you merely have a hunch a god exists?
Many people have lost everything gambling on hunches.
dynasty:
What is your running assumption here? What is the link between something you cannot account for and the existence of a deity?
Where did the female come from for Cain and Abel to mate with?
i'm not a gambler.![]()
I think there's a disconnect here. You seem to be assuring me that it really cannot be accounted for, but that is not what I'm asking. Its not 1 thing i cannot account for. Its the multitude of things not only i cannot account for, but people much smarter than i cannot either.
Hey aren't you on the wrong side of the fence?i wanna know now, what is your proof, if you call it a hunch, and you say your not a gambler, sounds to me like you have absolute proof. If you have it, please let me know, would help me out a lot![]()
If your god belief is merely a hunch and you're living your life according to that hunch then you're gambling your lifetime away on a hunch. I would say time is more valuable than money.i'm not a gambler.![]()
