this woman is totaly overstressing your simple working mind.

And how is the second kind supposed to be defeated? With what army, what weapons and how do they think they can win?

What exactly is she proposing once NATO leaves?

this woman is totaly overstressing your simple working mind.

This is the real world, DC. This conflict needs real people fighting other real people with real guns.

ETA: BTW, thank you for finally answering, it wasn't too hard was it? ;)

BTW yes it wasnt to hard to answer your strawman......

Democracy will never come to Afghanistan through the barrel of a gun, or from the cluster bombs dropped by foreign forces. The struggle will be long and difficult, but the values of real democracy, human rights and women's rights will only be won by the Afghan people themselves.

This is very true.
can yo agree on it Pardalis?
Do you understand what she ment with it?

i dont know, ask her.

From what I can read, the only practical thing that can be done in the real world she said was these:
Malalai Joya said:
She called for secularism in Afghanistan, saying: "Religion is a private issue, unrelated to political issues and the government... Real Muslims do not require political leaders to guide them to Islam."

Good luck with that, since Afghanistan is an Islamic country:

Also:

Malalai Joya said:
f she were president of Afghanistan, she would begin by referring all the country's war criminals to the International Court of Justice at the Hague. "Anybody who has murdered my sisters and brothers should be punished," she says, "from the Taliban, to the warlords, to George W Bush."

Again, how is she going to do that?

Malalai Joya said:
Then she would ask all foreign troops to leave immediately. She says that it is wrong to say Afghanistan will simply collapse into civil war if that happens. "What about the civil war now? Today, people are being killed – many, many war crimes. The longer the foreign troops stay in Afghanistan doing what they are doing, the worse the eventual civil war will be for the Afghan people."

Malalai Joya said:
"With the withdrawal of one enemy, the occupation forces, it [will be] easier to fight against these internal fundamentalist enemies

Again, nothing tangible is proposed, just wishful thinking that things will magically get better once NATO leaves.

this woman ponts out faults on all sides

Yes, that's pretty much all she does.

Although, you got to give her credit for her honesty:

Malalai Joya said:
I feel proud that even though I have no private army, no money, and no world powers behind me

Yes, exactly.

This is very true.
can yo agree on it Pardalis?

No, I don't.

Do you understand what she ment with it?
Yes, she dislikes NATO.

No, I don't.

Yes, she dislikes NATO.
why on earth do you ask me what she wants?
ask her.

Yes, she dislikes NATO.

you do not understand her, or you dont understand democracy.

try thinking about it, try really hard. try to understand.

So when NATO leaves democracy will immediately come by itself?

How?

The struggle will be long and difficult
No kidding.

but the values of real democracy, human rights and women's rights will only be won by the Afghan people themselves.
How will this come to fruition with the Taliban back in power?

Who is going to ensure the country's stability for true democracy to flourish?

The Taliban and the warlords aren't going to go away once NATO leaves. These are just words, DC, she doesn't say anything on what should be done and how.

duh, i never said she gave solutions, she merely pointed out problems.
but you are totaly disturbed by that.
and what they have now, isnt democracy in her eyes. so the NATO also didnt bring democracy in her POV.

and aslong the West is supporting Warlods, there will be no Democracy in Afghanistan soon.

It's not a perfect world. We can only work we what we've got, and Afghanistan is mostly tribes and ethnic clans, just having them to sit together to form a government, even if a corrupt one, is an achievement by itself. It's a start.

At least now they've got a constitution.
