General Israel/Palestine discussion thread - Part 4

That is ... nonsense.
The North didn't turn the US into an anti-South Apartheid State. And there was no slavery in Palestine Israel freed the people from - it just killed a lot of people and stole their property and land.

of course, you can reframe history all you like, it doesn't change the fact that, now, today, Israel is claiming 70-100% of Gaza and the West Bank as its territory, as Netanyahu has done.
It doesn't change the fact that Israel has committed a genocide and killed tens of thousands of kids.

What is your narrative on Settlers terrorizing and occupying the West Bank? Los Alamos?
What about losing a war and losing land do you not understand?

Do you think that the British were the worst colonizers (The Belgians, the Germans and the Portuguese, in that order) or that the monarchy controlled colonial policy?

Absolutely irrelevant.

This is about the Israeli genocide of Palestinians happening today.

Most Jews support Zionism.
that depends ENTIRELY on how you phrase the question.
Hasidic Jews don't support it AT ALL, most don't even think the founding of the State of Israel was legitimate.
Most Jews the world over are happy that Israel exists, but they do want it to live in peace with their neighbors and are strongly opposed to the war crimes and genocide, and flat out reject the current government.
If your position is that Zionism requires Israel to be at war with its neighbors constantly, and to expel or supress its Palestinian population, then most Jews the world over would tell you that they do NOT support Zionism.
Most young Jews in the US would probably call themselves anti-zionists.

I don't think it's a nice thought at all - I think everyone should grow up and live in peace.
But it is very much the Israeli Government position that only constant war is acceptable.

Israel offered multiple peace deals to Palestine. Who rejected them? Look, you can try to rewrite history as much as you want, but Palestine has never been and will never be interested in peace.

Clearly, but since Israel has no intention of that, them being wiped off the map is a good alternative.

Perfect parroting of Zionazi garbage.

A peace deal that demands Israel makes the rules is not a peace deal. Try learning about the West Bank next time before you start posting abject nonsense.

It's amazing that you can tell yourself that when Israel has made it its official policy to kill negotiatiors, and does so at every opportunity.

many historians have noted: even if Arab leaders believed they could reverse partition militarily, they badly underestimated both Jewish determination after the Holocaust and the political consequences of appearing to threaten a people who had just survived history's most infamous genocide.

Please stop fellating reactionary Islamism and secular kleptocracy.

The really amazing thing is your steadfast refusal to acknowledge that Palestine leaders do not want peace and seek only the destruction of Israel.

I've personally never understood why a crime committed by Europeans, in Europe, against Europeans then allowed the family of those Europeans to take the land from another people outside of Europe.

I also find it hard to reconcile the fact that Israeli claims on that land are valid based upon a several millennia old book of fantasy and the fact that their distant ancestors once owned that land 2 millennia ago, but Arab claims on that land are invalid as they were forcibly removed 60 years ago and they should just get over it.

The really amazing thing is your steadfast refusal to acknowledge that Palestine leaders do not want peace and seek only the destruction of Israel.
And believing that is enough for you to support killing thousands of children, rape, torture and genocide.
