I can only give anecdotal evidence here but I know quite a few Arabs and while "officially", all Muslims are "brothers", in reality the order of importance is usually:

1. Family
2. Clan
3. Tribe

.
4. Country

The funny thing is that everyone seems to be required to support either one side or the other.

Why is it so difficult to recognize that both sides are making and have been making huge mistakes and have committed horrible crimes?

Or to agree that while the Palestinians should have their own state, it is irrational to expect Israel to dissolve itself?

Well, evidence has been given by pointing out how Palestinian refugees are being treated in Arab countries, e.g. Lebanon.

You dispute that this has anything to do with how Arabs feel about Palestinians but you fail to deliver any counter-arguments.

So, the ball in in your court to provide evidence for your claim.

You might want to research events around PLO in Jordan and after their expulsion from there in Lebanon to get an idea why the Palestinians are so despised in those countries.

I never claimed that all Arabs hate all Palestinians.

But if it makes you happy I will change my statement to:

It is my personal opinion, based on personal experience and the way they are being treated and based on the fact that no universal and very little generic condemnation is visible, non-Palestinians Arabs care very little about the way that Palestinian Arabs are being discriminated against in many Arab countries.

I also think that especially the status of Palestinian Arabs in Lebanon is far worse than the status of Palestinian Arabs in the areas occupied and controlled by Israel.
