Face, meet leopard. Leopard, meet face.

How would she have known this? her 'news' outlet of choice is likely to have been Fox. She certainly wouldn't haveheard it there. Many other networks wouldn't have mentioned it.

I suspect that very large numbers of Trump voters are fairly moral, compassionate people.
At least with white people, they are certainly not compassionate to those pet eating Hattians.

Everyone seems awfully confident that this solar energy producing farmer was not in that 40 something percent of his state that voted democratic. Those aren't really shoe-in odds to assume he's a Trumpanzee.
True, there is no guarantee that the farmer in question voted for the republicans.

However, even though 40% of the state voted democrat, republicans tend to be more popular in rural areas. (In roughly half the counties, Trump got over 80% of the vote.) So while the farmer in question could have been a Harris voter, I'd say there is less than a 20% chance of that, rather than a 40% chance.

Don't blame the voters - it doesn't work and usually is counterproductive
If we were politicians trying to get elected in their district, I would agree with your advice... you are better off trying to butter up the voters and avoid criticizing them for their past choices.

But we are not politicians (well, I suspect most of us here are not). We are a random group of (mostly) skeptics with little to no political influence who are doing our best to analyze the complexities of the political landscape. As such, blaming a MAGAchud for making voting choices which they should have known would self-harm is reasonable, since the MAGAchud in question is unlikely to know what we are saying about them, and are unlikely to be swayed by our opinions either way.

Counterpoint: Adults have agency and personal responsibility is a thing. I’m going to go ahead and blame the voters.
and how do you hold the voters accountable?

you can't, so there is no point in berating them, demanding they do better next time. Either they will get it themselves or not, but your complaining will not help.

you have to do better work and make sure the voters know about it.

I’m not sure who you think I am or what power I hold.

replace "you" with "one" if you feel singled out.

The point is that even if voters did something really stupid, nothing is to be gained by running your campaign on "I told you so".

I don't feel singled out. I just don't understand what you think an anonymous person uninvolved in politics posting on an internet forum has to do with running a campaign.

Yes, there is a lot of value in that. We mostly call it education. If you don't point out their stupidity and how it directly caused their face to be ate then they don't learn. When I see a Trump supporter on facebook, or somewhere else, lose their job, I make a point to comment and laugh at them. I'll do it every single time. I've been lucky enough to do it twice so far.

◊◊◊◊ every Trump supporter. They can ◊◊◊◊ themselves, and I hope every single one ends up in financial ruin. I will laugh and point and say "I told you so" the entire time with no remorse. They're the "◊◊◊◊ your feelings" party.

I think I understand the confusion:

You are working under the same misapprehension as the Biden and Harris Team that Republicans or even Trumpers will ever vote for a Democrat in big numbers - it won't happen. At best, they will stay home. So if you want to tell them how stupid they were/are, be my guest, as it won't matter.

But if you are hoping to pick up voters for the Dems, you better come up with a strategy beyond "vote as the DNC says or whatever happens will be your fault - again."

No, I'm not working under that misapprehension. I don't give a ◊◊◊◊ if they vote for a Dem. I'm not trying to win them over, that's your misapprehension of my intentions. I want them to suffer because of the terrible decisions they make. I understand some good people will have to as well, and I feel terrible about that, but I ain't trying to turn votes here. I'm trying to make them feel stupid. I have no issues admitting to it either. I'll own it all day.
At best, they will stay home.

Not if they don't have a home. They can ◊◊◊◊ all the way off to the shelter for all I care.

I didn't need your permission but thanks for your support. You're still operating under the impression I am trying to change the world. I'm not. I'm trying to mock dumb ◊◊◊◊◊ that voted for quite possibly the worst person for the job, all as their lives fall apart because of the aforementioned voting decision.
But if you are hoping to pick up voters for the Dems,

I'm not, and I've never claimed to be.

I don't have to come up with ◊◊◊◊ because I'm one fat, white guy that lives in North Dakota. A state that will never turn blue. Ever.

well, you do you.

I think nothing will hurt them more than realizing that Trump betrayed them for personal profit.

But that won't be the worst of it.

Trump and his minions will kill Americans, after making them broke and starving first. The economy is already tanking, prices are rising, trade relationships are souring, and preventable diseases being allowed run unchecked. Promises to the American public are proving to be only so much fetid hot air. A gang of unelected thugs is literally throwing productive people out of jobs by the tens of thousands, for no gain. All the financial systems are switching to a base of imaginary magic beans worth nothing. The new president is proving beyond all doubt that he is a willing agent of a dictatorial foreign kleptrocrat Mafioso.

And it will only get worse.

So whose fault is this? A LOT more leopards need to eat a LOT more faces, painfully. Lessons need to be properly learned. Such that the US constitution needs to be immediately amended to prevent this sort of behaviour ever happening again. If that chance ever comes... Before the whole USA becomes just the Western Russia oblast.

I'm still very confused about why you think anyone here has any involvement in DNC strategy.

Meanwhile, in an attempt to get back on topic:

Republicans quiet as DOGE slashes GOP-backed pro-democracy group

In 2019, GOP Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida spoke at an elegant event celebrating the work of the Ronald Reagan-founded International Republican Institute, saying he was “so proud” to support the group and hailing fellow hawks Nikki Haley and Sen. John McCain in the audience.

But as secretary of state, Rubio did not spare the group from President Donald Trump’s freeze on foreign aid and dismantling of the U.S. Agency for International Development. Both threaten to sweep away the organization and the broader universe of U.S. democracy-promoting work.

With its funds frozen, the IRI has furloughed most of its staff and started shuttering its overseas offices. It’s a turn of events that has shocked IRI staff and called into question the future of bipartisan aid work.

“Once Rubio was appointed [secretary of state], a lot of people felt safe,” said one former IRI staffer, who, like others interviewed for this article, spoke on the condition of anonymity to avoid jeopardizing future job opportunities. “People thought the relationship was quite close and he’d be able to assist.”

But the group’s power-packed GOP board, which included Rubio until two months ago, was not enough to spare the IRI the U.S. DOGE Service’s chainsaw, raising questions about the influence of Republican hawks in an “America First” administration that is quickly reshaping alliances and the world order. (DOGE stands for Department of Government Efficiency and aims to reduce the size of the government.)
