It's ok, I'll just drown it out with some Toby Keith. Don't you have a conniption now..
You do realize that there are noise pollution ordnances, don't you?

In retrospect, I think I unnecessarily hard on Randy Olson. I take back my comments and apologize. However, I still disagree with his assessment of "Expelled" box office "success."
Thanks for the link, I enjoyed reading the site.
I was just continually amazed while reading about the 'expelled'. Over and over again, these people act like douches, doing things continually that SHOULD get them fired, or let go... and they NEVER do. They all stay employed.
Who gets fired? Christine Comer. What kind of bizarro world do we live in when the IDiots get Christine Comer fired, and then make a docudrama about THEMselves being fired instead?
Sadly, a world full of theists.
Are there any posters / flyers for Expelled Exposed? I ask because some IDiot has posted Expelled posters ALL over our biology lab building on campus, and I want to put Expelled Exposed flyers right next to all of them.
ETA: never mind, just found out it is against the rules and they will likely be taken down within the day.

What do you mean don't lump theists in with IDers? Who is it you think supports ID?
So how do you guys feel about this? Share real copies to drive down profits or share fake copies to decrease viewing? I guess I kinda feel like file sharing can increase the overall popularity of something in a viral way and ultimately help the producer of the film so stopping effective file sharing is probably an effective way to resist the movie's silliness.
It's not so black-and-white. While most IDers are theists, not all theists are IDers. Not to mention, there actually are some atheists who actively promote ID... for example, the Raelians.
ETA: The Raelians don't think that God is The Designer... they think that a race of space aliens with advanced technology are The Designers. Seriously.
I was in a bad mood when I posted that. I am aware not all theists are IDers. But there are an awful lot of theists trying to shove religion down people's throats right now because they are threatened by the facts. But the fact are what they are. These people need to get over it.It's not so black-and-white. While most IDers are theists, not all theists are IDers. Are you saying it wasn't theists and/or pressure from theists that got Comer fired?

I can buy your argument except for one thing, the theists that don't support Comer getting fired weren't exactly sticking up for her either.

That's another discussion. Don't throw out wild generalizations, designed to vilify a whole group of people that doesn't share the beliefs of the one we are discussing here, ID'ers.
I don't know if the statement about "an awful lot of theists..." is such a wild generalization. I feel like thats fair to say. IMO there are. Dhe doesn't say 'ALL theists' or even 50% of theists. I guess it all depends on how you interpret 'an awful lot'
NEWS ALERT!!!

I can’t wait to see how this plays out in court - and when Yoko is finished with the makers of Expelled, whatever is left will likely be mopped up by the Harvard/XVIVO lawsuit![]()
from article
"We are disappointed therefore that Yoko Ono and others have decided to challenge our free speech right to comment on the song 'Imagine' in our documentary film," they said in a statement.
Now that is cool because it really did piss me off when they played John Lennon's, "Imagine", over pictures of Stalin.NEWS ALERT!!!
