At worse she did something ill-advised for, as far as anyone can tell, entirely innocent motivations. <insert shrieking> but the left did something that can kinda sorta be seen as racial insensitive! See they're the real racists. <end shrieking>

That would be pretty civil war (born 1830) at exactly six generations back.

But you are making a probability error. The report said 6-10 generations, and you are emphasizing only one of the five possible generations. We don't know how probable each one is. It is probably a fair guess that 7-10 generations is more likely than 6.
 
I think Warren made a very minor mistake in presenting her DNA. It doesn't change a damn thing. The people who would vote for or against her were never going to base their decision on this. I think it's a mistake to respond to non-issues. The good news for Warren though, is it still doesn't make a difference.

We're already seeing Trump claiming that the DNA test was fraudulent. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Wait, Warren wanted to meet people she had something in common with, maybe even attend a luncheon? The horror!

Perhaps you are unaware of this, but people often identify with others they share things in common with. It's quite common for people with Scottish ancestors to join The Saint Andrews Society, or a Clan Society if they have the right surname. That doesn't mean they are claiming Scottish citizenship.

Changing their ethnicity on their employers records might mean something as far as what they are claiming to be? (or no?)

I would think having your name in a minority directory of law professors, might be something that would assist in networking.

Schools looking for minority hires, that would be the first place they would look.

I haven't seen any evidence that she changed evidence in her employers records. I saw your unattributed picture, but as your sources so far have been attrocious I see no reason to believe one that you won't even cite.

If that were the case, it doesn't make sense that she changed the listing 3 years after being hired. Also, what minority directory are you talking about? Previous discussions have been about a listing in the regular directory, now you are bringing up a separate directory?

Agreed, she's mostly cracker and claiming minority status for NA ancestry is improper. Moving on, what do we have? A bet with the President that he has yet again shown what his word is worth.
