Dylan starts to get pissy

Another quote from Dylan:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was pretty sure we don't have 'fair use' laws in the UK, alongside of our stringent libel laws. I hope they've got a good lawyer....

No no fair use. Fair dealing is generaly considered to be the cloest but is it safe to say that does not apply in this case.

Sorry if this is already posted, didn't read it all. Bad Dog, but anyhoo...

That's fine man. I don't mind people asking questions...I mind the way they do it sometimes.

Then...

dylan. how many screens in north america are you aiming for

This is the last question I'm answering.

Over 3,000.

and yet...

Over 3000? Damn! That's more than what Fahrenheit 9/11 and United 93 opened to combined!

Well, this is what we hope. And I didn't say we'd open to 3,000. We'd like to eventually make it to 3,000.

Priceless!

Dylan will soon evolve eyes in the back of his head, what with all the backpedaling he's been doing lately...

All good things in time, young Avery. First break that 30 ceiling, and then we'll talk 3000.

No. And I guarantee my company won't be too thrilled that someone put subtitles over their movie and put it online.

Hey, JREFrs, get a good lawyer.

OOh scary tactics. However, if there actual original footage and interviews, then Dylan Avery does have some sort of stance in terms of copyright. However, if he stole all the videos like he did with Loose Change 2nd Edition, then Dylan would be the one worrying about lawyers.

However, it's good to know that the little tampon didn't like my methods on debunking his "work". If it pisses him off, it makes me happy.

and it would be easy to debunk LC:FC by just taking stills from his film and like the guide, do a text version. But MarkyX , do you want to spend all that time again to do another Screw LC?

that is again covered under Fair Use (something that Dylan and company have shown they don't understand)

This is hilarious coming from him. What thread is this from? I didn't see it in the "Loose change final cut will be in theaters" thread.

This whole thing about 3000 screens and all that stuff kind of reminds me of Comical Ali during the Iraq War :)

His story will probably end up being the same as Comical Ali's. He will be questioned about this whole film, when it blows over, provide no evidence, and will be released because he has nothing useful to say!

Not if he gets sued after a UK release - the reputation of our libel and copyright laws for harshness is fairly well-justified :D
