Dylan starts to get pissy

I for one cannot wait until Merc and Lyte release their super secret crapumentary and then get their asses handed to them by all of the lawsuites.

I hope that the first lawsuit comes from Lloyd the cabdriver who they have manipulated and ridiculed.

As for Dylan....
Didnt he say he was moviing to L.A.?

Just a couple of questions for dylan

http://z10.invisionfree.com/Loose_Change_Forum/index.php?showtopic=2855

Dylan, just a few scant weeks before your release; as I understand it you're what weeks away from going into cinemas.

I'm sure you're able to tell us;

A) Who your US and UK Distributors are?

Who is your agent?

C) what company is handling your DI process?

D) why there is no pre advertising or pre industry buzz, variety etc?

E) what company is handling your prints?

F) what company is handling your legal requirments?

E) who is handling your lay back?

F) Who is doing your PR etc, why this is scant information in the trades about your film

It just seems incredible that searching industry sources I cannot see anyone taking credit for your film. I mean your budget, as claimed, exceeds Farhenheit 9/11, a film that hype preceded itself?

Your film has generated scant attention in the trades, could you please provide some evidence that your film is going to go in general release in a few weeks.

Looking forward to the answer...

Since threads on LCF tend to disappear quickly, here some nice questions put to Dylan Avery:

ETA: Damn, 8den was faster ... :(

It's funny how twoofers come to Dylan's defence immediately! I would ask Dylan for this instead of having "obedient spokespeople" in his place.

An e-mail Dylan has sent out to me. Methinks he's nearing the breaking point!

John (My nom de plume),
"but the fact is, Hollywood won't gamble with a 23 year old filmmaker
that's been rejected from film school twice. There's too much money at
stake here, something like $22 million for this film. Hollywood would
like a return on this film, and it just won't be able to with the amount
of rubbish he's pouring out."
I'm sorry...are you in on our conference calls? Do you actually know
how much our budget is? Do you know anything about the deals we've
already made? Have you read the script? They're not gambling. I've
accomplished more without film school than most people, such as
yourself, will EVER accomplish. Period. Jealousy is a bitch, and I'm
sorry you're experiencing it, but don't spew ******** like that and
expect to not be corrected.
This is why you were banned from my forums in the first place.

-Dylan
Anyhow, believing that I'm jealous of him, whatever! The poor kid is starved of attention! He also does conference calls as well, that just HAS to make me jealous :p. I don't know how much of a wager I should put down that Dylan's mockumentary won't make it into theatres!

SCript? I thought he was doing a documentary? that means there is no script.

Sorry, but its the end of January, I live in Entertainment capital of the US and there is NOTHING in the trades and hollywood tabs, that mention any 9/11 film being "distributed". And didnt he mention a march release?

Dylan is so caught up in his own lies, that he is starting to believe the crap that comes out of his mouth.

Remember, we're dealing with a man-child from New York! Those New Yorkers feel so self-righteous about EVERYTHING they do :D

*Now I'll go and shower myself since I insulted a person*

Holy woo stuff Batman....Dylan has had a break with reality again...

I can't see this is a huge release. Not one deal's been cut as of yet as far as we all know.

Whatever film company takes this film on, is going to see a lot of lawsuits.

Oh and can anyone else tell that Dylan is only in it for the attention? :p

That's why he decides to target me rather than Gravy or Coritani or anyone else that has more experience against him...

He probably has a minor distribution deal, perhaps international, rather than domestic.

As for his comment re: what he has done...blah blah blah...does the boy realize he has yet to actually direct anything the general public would call a "motion picture" in the familiar sense. There are no actors in his film...no narrative. No selection of shots. Who will list as his 1st AD, or his Line Manager...there doesnt seem to be a role for these in a puzzle "put together", which is essentially what LC:FC is. I mean, no doubt for this one he has done some documentary style interviews, and kudos to him for it...the first step towards real film making, but appart from that, what is he more than a video editor?

I do not mean to insult, but calling it as I see it.

Well guys, he sure showed us! He's listed as in production in The Hollywood Reporter for Chrissakes!

http://www.proxygem.com/cgi-bin/nph...ose_Change_Forum/index.php=3fshowtopic=3d2859

So why don't you call them up, give them your credit card number, and list yourself as "in production"...lol

From the Hollywood Reporter website re: Production Info:

Oh the irony....the search engine at the top right of the hollywood reporter link above is "Sponsored by United93".

In case you missed it, they have pointed out that it has been in production for a full year (start 3 January 2006).

And Dylan does not deny that he has sold his rights. When asked his response is 'what is your source?' See the LC link above.

Can someone please sell Dylan some marbles?
