Merged Due process in the US

One of the tenets of left-but-not-that-left ideology is that "The system is working as intended." Any indication that the system is being used for overtly abusive and irreversible ends is dismissed on its face.

And the subtext of "The system is working as intended" is of course "The system is working as intended for me".

No. I don't think he's on the right trail at all. He's just chainsawing ◊◊◊◊. You can't evaluate productivity of tens of thousands of civil servants in a months worth of observation. Just not possible. And as far as I know, his boy helpers have no experience in said evaluations.

It's a difficult job with a 4 year back-log.

The seafood wholesaler's owner, Luis Janota, told WPIX in New York that his warehouse manager, who was also detained, was Puerto Rican. Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory and its residents are U.S. citizens.

“It looked to me like they were specifically going after certain kinds of people — not every kind. Because they did not ask me for documentation for my American workers, Portuguese workers or white workers,” Janota told the station.
