.... they can remove the curse if you withdraw the money and give it to them as cash in a paper bag, I suggest that you not do that. ...
What kind of bag would you recommend instead?

By the way, SiskMick has posted that winning a $ 1 million from the JREF challenge would probably not be important to him (a theme given by many paranormal claimants when they are asked if they would consider the challenge). I just wanted him to know that even though I can continue to live well without the $ 1 million, if he ever won it, I would be happy to have him transfer it to me. An extra $1 million would probably not change the fundamentals of my life, but would be very useful in general to me. And I don't think the money is cursed. By the way, if anyone tells you that your money is cursed and that they can remove the curse if you withdraw the money and give it to them as cash in a paper bag, I suggest that you not do that. I've seen the result on TV...
One made of gold and ringed with the finest gems. What kind of bag would you recommend instead?
I'm more than prepared to have my mind changed. All it would require is an actual cogent argument, rather than a declaration by fiat.
Sure I could use it, it would give me great pleasure to spread it around, but I don't need it
Can someone dowse me up an answer to the math here. (They promised me no math in GenSkepPara.)
Here are Jack Coe's numbers.
Apparently he finds 215 wells a year. Wow! That's one for each working day of the year.
See below:
But that's nuttin'! He apparently averages more than 1 per day, every day, according to this blurb.
Now, assuming that he isn't just pulling those figures out of his butt, that could mean 215 successful wells out of "over 400" sites. That's about 50/50. How does that relate to the chance of finding water at any given location?

What, you left me off that list?A personal plea to Saskmick,
Saskmick, I got to thinking. If you would be good enough to devote around 3-4 days, in total, of your time and apply for the Million Dollar Challenge you could help the following charities when you inevitably win it.
- Yubu Development Agency
- Women Entrepreneurs Of Saskatchewan Inc We
- Lutheran Theological Seminary Saskatoon
- Kinsmen Foundation
- Sunnyside Adventist Care Centre
- Scat Street Cat Rescue Program
- Southern Sudan Humanitarian Action Development Agency
- Shakespeare On The Saskatchewan Festival
- Partners For The Saskatchewan River Basin
There are another 21/2 pages of good causes you could help and you can find them here. I think they are all fairly local to you and you could remain anonymous if you preferred to.
If you'd rather not help these then perhaps going for a straight win would be a good strategy as this would allow you to fund world travel where you could dowse for missing people (especially children). Maybe you could help drought ridden areas on our planet where the death rate caused by drought is 50,000-260,000? In fact, when I think about it, now that you know you can, without a shred of doubt, dowse for anything it kind of places a moral obligation upon you to do something to alleviate such a terrible human tragedy.
I'm 100% certain that you will do nothing to help, despite having the power to do so. If I'm right (and I hope I'm not) can you tell me why you choose to let people die, good causes to flounder and missing people (children) to remain so when all it needs is for you to turn up and dowse.
Please let me know your thoughts and any plans you have to make the most substantial difference to mankind across the globe ever known in the history of the world.
As you ponder, can you ask your mates over in the dowsing forum why they are sitting on their arses doing **** all? They must be inhuman.
There's where you make a mistake, the money has the Curse of Randi, the skeptic stink on it and no good can come from the use of it, however I can remove the curse by dowsing just send me a check for 10% and when the check arrives I'll hold my rod and staff over it and remove the curse, since what's whole in part is whole in all the curse will be removed from all the money.

Not 2000 people, 200 people.According to givewell.org, a life-saving charity that saves one life per $5000 or less is cost effective. http://www.givewell.org/international/technical/criteria/cost-effectiveness
At that level, you could save at least 2,000 people with a million dollars. Just win the prize and give it to an effective charity.
Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me...There's where you make a mistake, the money has the Curse of Randi, the skeptic stink on it and no good can come from the use of it, however I can remove the curse by dowsing just send me a check for 10% and when the check arrives I'll hold my rod and staff over it and remove the curse, since what's whole in part is whole in all the curse will be removed from all the money.
Gravity is a theory. Next time you are at the top of a cliff and want to get to the bottom, just step off, after all, it's "just" a theory that you will fall. Please let me know when the ideomotor effect is no longer just a theory.
The device you are describing is an overbalanced lever. It is sensitive to tilt and rotates easily, magnifying a tiny tilt to a big one. This is elementary physics, Watson....and in reaction he challenged me to carry one wire in each hand over a known buried City water pipe and see for myself. I was amazed because I could feel the wires rotate and cross each other. To this day I can't really make sense of it. Some people have suggested that he secretly twisted the wires walking behind me but I don't think so.

I tend to discount the ideomotor effect, since I can make a rod or pendulum do exactly what I want anytime without most people noticing. If I can, anyone else can, too.
Sounds good to me!
Wait a minute...
