I didn't say it would embarrass Trump--obviously it won't--I said the embarrassment *of* Trump, since the entire planet knows that Putin is just beginning his complete emasculating of his puppet. By airing the pics, he is basically saying, I can do what I want with your personal life without your permission. As an aside, it is a reminder to America that the anti-immigration crowd who elected Trump while screaming about Harris sleeping her way to success, is married to an immigrant who most obviously got to where she was for reasons other than her incredible intellect.

The tales of "nude" shots are being made to sound very tantalizing. The actual pics are garden variety model poses.

You'll notice the actual screenshot of the TV broadcast I posted upthread matches pic number 4 in the GQ article. Russian TV was rebroadcasting a magazine shoot, not porn or artistic porn.

It's not even that. Again, these pictures have been out in the public for a long time. Hell, they were published photos, from when she was a model. These aren't private nudes that got stolen in a hack. So why would anyone care? Do you care?

Except this wasn't his personal life, it was Melania's professional and very public life. Again, these were photos that she posed for with the intention that they would be published, and they already were. They were meant to be seen, and have already been seen plenty. Russia publishing them again doesn't change anything.

This really isn't a flex on Putin's part. It's a hissy fit. It makes him look petty and weak.
 
So our foreign queen may be a whore or whore-adjacent, who cares? As her hideous jacket once proclaimed "I Really Don't Care Do U". She wasn't just talking about the jailed children she was mocking at the time, it was a blanket statement for everything. She's fulfilled her purpose by giving the king an heir who isn't yet publically known to be a giggling imbecile, so her only function now is occasional ornament. I'm sure the next one will be younger and prettier.

No. The point isn't whether or not anyone cares, I make no claim in that regard. The point is that Russia publishing pictures which were already published and easily available doesn't change anything. The people who are bothered were already bothered, the people who weren't bothered still aren't. Regardless of where you think the needle is, this doesn't move it.

What do you think the point was of congratulating Trump for his victory by showing pictures of his naked wife? Honestly, I can't quite figure it out if not to be a public flex on him.

I'm sure it was an attempt at a flex on him. Just like Putin's invasion of Ukraine was an attempt to conquer it in three days.

This won't be any more successful, but at least showing nudes won't cost any lives.
 
The bill for flying Melania to DC will be huuuuge. She won't be in the WH except for dinners with foreign heads of state. And Easter egg roll.

I don't like RFK betteer then you do, but to be fair he has denied hs wants to do the last two. He is a nutjob, yes, but not quite that ntty.
I also think RFK will be appoointed to some Health Advisors post with no real power. I think the health indusry, which dspises RFK has enough uscle in the GOP to do that.

I'm too old to know what "a public flex on him" means.

It could have been intended as a warning that Russia has some photos/video that would prove embarrasing to Trump.

Well,the photos had all been published years ago. They were from a popular men's magazine called GQ. Unless you mean they were supposed to allude to some other photos? The infamous pee pee tape, perhaps?
