I don't get the impression the MAGA crowd value women for their intellect and in their minds the fact Trump is married to a 'hottie' just increases their opinion of him....

It won't matter whether you're a citizen or have a green card, you'll still have your house and life turned upside down while you prove that you're in the country legally. Citizens who simply "look like they don't belong" will find themselves being harassed to produce their papers on a regular basis. How you prove your US citizenship will become an important question.

A few years back, maybe a year before 2016 election I caught some MAGA folk (pre MAGA then) talking about foreigners taking them cheap jobs. Roofers, ag work. I eavesdropped long enough to realize that neither one of the men understood that such a thing as a visa esxists. They just somehow assumed the "good immigrants" came here and became citizens and got jobs right away. That might be the basis for MAGA believing that illegals vote.

Yep, let the fascist takeover begin. That's why I think it is foolish for the Dems to play nice and act with 'civility'--they should give the opposition the war they want.

It is not meant to intimidate him, because Trump is incapable of feeling intimidated. If 90% of the electorate had rejected him, he would have still claimed he won. It's meant to mock him--that is why the state media 'reporters' who aired the pics were laughing at it. The AI memes of Putin walking Trump like a lost dog will be next.

Its entirely possible that in Trump's bizarro mind that he might not be upset at all by this. In fact, he might take it as a compliment. Russia thinks his trophy wife is hot. Maybe Putin understands him well enough to know this and this is an attempt at flattery.

He knows Trump won't care, that's how he will continue to keep him on a leash and continue to manipulate him. I'm sure he will snicker as he congratulates Trump for a 'huge' crowd at inauguration.

Well, if any Dem leader had a wife who was a model, you can bet the right would be calling her a slut. It's all par for their hypocrisy. The evangelicals who scream about deviancy and porn often end up to be the #1 partakers of it.

Sounds to me like a play for Putin's domestic audience then. Which, sure, go for it Putin. Get that propaganda win!

Not sure why the rest of the world should care. I don't think they will.
