In the wild? Really - where was that then?I've seen a pack of wolves turn on each other to decide who gets the next bite of a reindeer carcase.

I was telling Dylan2001 what he was in for if he was not careful. Seems he chose the best strategy and ran.
Actually ... on a related note ... when I lived in Costa Rica a few years ago I watched a pack of coatimundi's do just this. They were all so "cute and friendly", coming up to me and some others looking for scraps of food, making their little squeaks. So then we tossed a piece of sandwich at one of them ... and they all turned on each other horrifically to get to that sandwich. Literally, it was a bloody mess ... scalped hides and half severed legs. It was unbelievable. In the wild? Really - where was that then?
Haven't made it to page 3 yet...but shouldn't it be "closed-minded?" Doesn't "close" mean, well...close?
And "closed" means closed as in a closed door as opposed to an open one?
I've always just sort of wondered as I see "close-minded" a lot and it doesn't sound right, somehow.![]()
Whateve. Ya'll must just be trippin. You're right, it is "closed-minded." But that's something we tend to do, linguistically: foreshorten words because we blend the "d" at the end of the first word into the following word. Iced tea becomes ice tea, iced cream is ice cream, and closed-minded becomes close-minded. None of them are necessarily correct--tea is not ice, is it is iced--but we don't really notice how we change the meaning.
Then again, they could mean close-minded, though. I know people who appear to keep their brains in a separate box they never open, but they do keep the box next to them at all times.![]()

Full moon ?I was just wondering how one gets to see a pack of wild wolves fighting over reindeer - except maybe in a TV documentary...

Does your god ask himself where he came from ?![]()

Wow... that was one way to kill 20 minutes. im just a little concerned on how it went from "do gods wonder where they came from" to english problems, religion bashing, bashing religion bashers, and finnaly wolf packs. though humorus, i never learned a thing from this entire topic...
or is that og? damnI have now learned to spell OG!or is that og? damn

Running away makes god proud? I thought martyrs were the heroes of the faith I guess it's the ones who can do the 100 yard dash.
God should be omniscient, or it is not god in my book. And omniscient being should not wonder about anything. It would be perfectly clear to him where he came from.
Doesn't this God wonder what you and I will do? He gave us "free will" according to some. It's the classic paradox of omnipotence -- He can do anything, so He built us in such a way that He cannot predict our actions?
If God was all powerful, he could wonder about his origins.
