Continuation Part 18: Amanda Knox/Raffaele Sollecito

Status
Not open for further replies.
This one is never before seen and shows someone leaving the cottage around 5.30pm.

I think Amanda & Raffaele said they left the cottage that night around 5:00 pm? Meredith left earlier.

The car may have been that guy (forget his name now) that closed his business, met a friend, and then drove the friend to the parking garage so the friend could get his car. While he knew Meredith, and was near the cottage that night, the police concluded he had nothing to do with the murder.

I already issued my mea culpa before I read your recommendation to issue one.

I wonder if Grinder can issue a mea culpa since he makes more provable mistakes than I do?

Fat Chance,
Ken Dine!!!

Grinder, Vixen and most anyone else
is not ever gonna admit to bein' wrong,
in my humble opinion...

I'm a bit sunburnt, even though I'm very tan,
but with our summer sun here in L.A. out in full force, + the water temp 72°
I rode some 50 odd waves today. Heck, I even got a few nose rides, on 1 The RW was even Hangin' 5,
those 5 toes were indeed curlin' over the nose, yeaaaa!

Afterwards,
it makes me think of The Grinder,
as he always helps keep us on our toes,
ya know?

That said,
who cares if Italy uses a i
but not an y in their vocabulary?

We have proof
yes indeed, real proof,
that Rudy Guede spells his 1st name with a y!
Not an i.

Get it?

It's very simple...

Look at how he signs his name.
picture.php

Not a ****in' i in there.

That said, my friends,
please do not ever Google my name.
For you'll also find, as I did years ago on the 3rd, 4rth or 5th page,
a hot lookin' chick who spells her name, the same name as my name - The RW,
with an i instead of a y.

What she does for a livin' is kinda gnarly.
Waaaay gnarlier than what I do to make some $$$ to feed myself.

That said though,
golly gee gosh, I wonder what I'd find if I Googled Grinder's real name???
An i instead of a y?

When folks do not spell Rudy's name properly as he himself does so,
well a person like me who also likes to discuss this case,
might wonder why?

Especially if the guy who does this,
always then demands perfection from us,
his fellow friends in debate...

With that said,
I luuuuv this from Moije2!!!:
Grynder.
:D
RW

Hey ya'll,
we're all just pulling up a chair at the table,
ya know takin' time off from our real life, and sharin' a thought or 2.
Me, I usually always have a slap-happy grin on my face as I debate, Fulcanelli, err banned, TreeHorn, err banned,
Fiona, who ran away + hid out with the bunny's,
or Sillyho, or whatever his moniker was,
who has since disappeared from the debate
after The Italian Supreme Court ruling.

Hahahaha,
all you folks
were WRONG
!!!
:D

Have you ever been to Seattle?

Born, raised, worked and ... in Seattle. Proud UW grad. And I repeat you are spewing bull.

First of all, you're correct that Amanda lived with her friend Madison Paxton for 10 months in an apartment in downtown Seattle, which is close to the University of Washington, which isn't described as "West Seattle," so your above statement is nonsensical?

No first she lived in a dorm and then moved into a house on 12th and 52nd just north of U YMCA. She lived with Paxton after her acquittal and it was in the International district which used to be called Chinatown.

Google "Edda Mellas + Seattle" and one of the 1st hits is her tax record for her house, which is SW 37th Avenue Seattle, Wa. Google maps says the trip from downtown Seattle to Edda's house is 14 minutes, which is pretty much around the corner.

Perhaps Tesla will engage and verify that West Seattle is not around the corner from the UW. BTW the UW hasn't been in downtown Seattle for about 130 years.

During rush hour it can take an hour easy to get from the UW to West Seattle.

Anyway you were totally wrong. She had lived away from home for years. Meredith had lived away from home for years. You whole point was and is bull.

I wouldn't count on it. Maybe when it gets cold in Hades.

I agree with all of this. As someone who lived in and around Seattle for 50 years. Still, everyone can and I think should work on their tone. This is all pretty insignificant.

BTW: I also think Amanda rode her bike from Chinatown to the UW campus which is about a 30 minute ride from the International District. I was under the impression that she didn't drive a car.

Ahhh! That explains it, too much rain on your noggin over the years!
:)

As for spewing bull, you claimed this:

The NIT-PICKER Further Doth Claim:
Ken you don't know what you are talking about. First of all West Seattle isn't around the corner from mom's house no matter how you define it.

Doesn't mom live in West Seattle? If so, your above statement was nonsensical!

Where I come from (el Lay), a 19 minute drive (the distance from the U of Washington to Edda's home in light traffic) is indeed just around the corner, and in the sense I meant "just around the corner," is that it would be convenient for Amanda to frequently go home for a quick visit, or to do her laundry, etc.

Google map showing the driving times:

b0rjbof.png

BTW - I often get to locations in far less time than Google Map's estimates, so 19 minutes isn't engraved in stone.

During rush hour it can take an hour easy to get from the UW to West Seattle.

You didn't say anything about rush-hour in your initial claim that Amanda couldn't conveniently return home to her mom, so I call B$ since people quickly learn to avoid rush-hour trips!

Before going to Italy Amanda did live in a dorm (as I had said), and also with Paxton in an apartment, as you had said.

I admitted I goofed about the apartment, and also about my implication that Amanda wasn't yet experienced in maintaining a home so as to not piss off her Italian roommates. Hey, Laura may have been a flaming 'B' and compulsively clean, so Laura may have been an unreasonable handful?

Even so, I was still CORRECT that the two older Italian gals thought their two younger English-speaking roomies weren't pulling their weight in house chores. I was also CORRECT that the two older gals instituted set chores with a fine system. Will you admit I was CORRECT about that?

Can you admit that you had exaggerated the distance and difficulty that it would take Amanda to visit her mom and sister frequently as she attended the U of Washington?

As I recall, one of Amanda's reasons for going to Italy was to cut the cord and be on her own, which implies she didn't feel she had done that yet.

Rudy Guede did it.

Ken I wish you would drop this. You're right and you're wrong at the same time. I don't care what Google says about drive times this is one of the most congested areas in and around Seattle. It could easily take an hour to drive from Amanda's flat in the ID to to the South end of West Seattle where Edda lives. Or it could be done in 15 minutes. And rush hour in Seattle lasts about 4 hours in the AM and even longer in the PM.

Also, I'm pretty sure Amanda doesn't drive, which given the very high cost of parking in the International District so this is understandable. That's a good 45 minute of solid exercise to ride that bike home and a good hill climb to boot. Add another 40 minutes from the UW so popping in on mom is not as easy as you are thinking.

I agree that Grinder's nitpicking on minor details is a waste of time, so I would love to drop it.

Grinder apparently loves non-productive pissing contests, which he obviously can't stop instigating.

Personally, I feel I've added some good info here, such as Stefanoni's presentation that their CSI team had found five (5) hairs consistent with Guede in Meredith's bedroom. Finding those 5 African hairs puts everything that followed into proper perspective!

If Amanda didn't have a car, then that's an interesting wrinkle. The 12 miles between the U of Washington & West Seattle would likely take a gal well over an hour on a bike. While Amanda may have done that a few times, if she didn't have a car, then likely Edda would pick her up in her car, and take Amanda back after their visit.

When I was in the Navy, I would occasionally drive to Los Angeles from San Diego just to spend time with my family (and G/F) for the evening, and then I'd leave early to get back to the ship for 7:00 am muster.

When I was stationed in San Fran (Treasure Island) for various military schools (I was trained as an air controller), I would often fly home on weekends. Do you remember PSA? Back in the 1960s PSA only charged around $8 between San Fran and Burbank on their Electra turbo-props.

Maybe I was more family orientated in my late teens than Amanda was, so I may be projecting a tad?

You whole point was and is bull. Nuh-uh.

Well now, I know that middle school is a tough time, and girls can be vicious to each other...

I was wondering what this bickering was all about. You know, this nit picking and apparent oneupsmanship. Does someone think they "own" this subject? Who is king of the topic?

So, I went back to see what the heck y'all have been nit-a-pickin:

I agree there is a history of enforcing precision. Albeit sometimes on one's own terms.

IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER:

ROSEMONTAGUE POSTS:

There are 3 Filomena depositions and I just looked at all of them. There are two that mention the washing machine in reference to being asked again about who the clothes belonged to.*

Quote:
A.D.R. In the following days, when I went coli Sotio the Judicial Police at the scene in order to verify if they missed the knives in the house, 110 noted that ne1 bathroom more 'great, where is located the washing machine, within it there were rags not mine. Similarly the iodine
~
I can rule out that they were of Laura, since the latter, being two days before the game his body was found, he would definitely say something about it or to lay them out or to wash them.*I say this because on Laura prevailed with some sort of agreement finalized mutually to avoid that the clothes remain long in the washing machine in case of absence of a the two. . .*

http://www.amandaknoxcase.com/witness-depositions/

THEN STROZZI POSTS:
RoseM, I have highlighted above a (machine?) translation you posted of Filomena's statement. What is Filomena*alluding to*in the highlighted statement? Did Filomena and Laura have housemate disagreements over cleanliness in the house? Did one speak to the other about a laundry issue? Was it a complaint? Did one of them then regale her girl posse with stories about how the other cavalierly left clothes in the machine?*

THEN HERE COMES THE "OFFENDING BS" POST BY Ken Dine:
1. I can answer that. Both of the older Italian gals thought their younger English-speaking roommates were BOTH slobs, so shortly before the murder the two older Italian gals instituted rules and a cleaning schedule for their younger roomies to follow, complete with a system of fines.

2. Apparently, one of the new rules was to not leave wet clothing in the washing machine, so that is what Filomena was referring to.

3. As far as I know, Filomena and Laura got along fine as roomies since they had been doing that for awhile and they were both good friends, but the older Italian gals had to both crack the whip on the two new younger gals since for Amanda & Meredith, this was their first experience living away from their mothers' homes.

4. Due to Filomena & Laura's nagging, the murder scene had been recently cleaned fairly well before the murder.

GRINDER TO THE RIPOSTE:
3a. Ken I think you are just making stuff up. For sure Amanda had lived away from home for some time.*

3b. How long had Laura and Filomena been roomies?*

1. Laura had made a schedule of chores. Where do you get the idea of fines?

4. Where do you get the idea the "murder scene" had been cleaned "fairly well"? 4a. Did they use bleach? Does that mean the "foot prints" had to be very recent?

AND THEN LAST:

Born, raised, worked and ... in Seattle. Proud UW grad. And I repeat you are spewing bull.
///
///

Anyway you were totally wrong. She had lived away from home for years. Meredith had lived away from home for years. You whole point was and is bull.

So now brethren, look at
item 1 of Ken Dine's post. He looks pretty accurate there to me. Grinder's response was "where did you get the idea" that fines were imposed... Not right about that Grinder?
Item 2 of Ken Dine's post. Was that speculation? or does it fall reasonably under the known issue about rules? Maybe speculation, I will submit to the board.
Item 3a. "Their first experience living away from their mothers' homes". Ken Dine has said, yup, they did live away from their mother's homes. Mea culpa. Hold it one second Mr. Dine. When I first read that the import of your comment was that AK and MK were still living like students and not responsible, and like you said, slobs. So you might have said living like transient students and not young working adults like the Italian roomies. So yes, you failed the precision test there.
Item 3b. How long had Laura and Filomena been roomies? Well Grinder, this looks like a side step from Ken Dine's point that Laura and Filomena were relatively established in the appartment already. So no point there. Not total bull.
Item 4. Filomena and Laura nagged. Seems like it, they did impose a rule with consequences so it was important to them. Not reasonable to think that the appartment had been "cleaned fairly well" recently. Why the come back about bleach? Was Ken Dine making an argument about the foot prints here? Maybe. You tell me.

So, in all of this, you are nit picking. And IMO his original post was not total bull. You have seized upon the living away from issue, and Ken Dine may have meant it at the time, literally. But living in a dorm and/or a house in the same community is not, in my book, living "away from" home in the sense you are truly independent. You threw in the rush hour time factor. Hardly a student move to drive at rush hour. Silly response. Move two thousand miles, then yes. Move abroad, yes. 3 weeks in Japan is not "living away from home" and gets no marks.

Carry on.

1. I agree that it comes off as a non-productive pissing contest. And becomes tiresome. Even for me, who only does infrequent drive by's.

2. I agree that you have added useful commentary, and some of this nit picking comes off as ungenerous king-of-the-hill attitude. Grinder has command of many, many details. I would not dream going toe to toe with him - or just about any of you. I spend way less time on this than most here - but I can read, and nonsense is nonsense. Anyway, it could all stand a little lighten-ing up. MOO.

Don't let Grinder annoy you, he does that to all of us He'll ding you for not dotting an i. The nitpicking can be annoying but he'll spot the slightest exaggeration or speculation. Which is easy to do since there are so many articles that have tiny errors in them. People run with them because they tend to believe the spin that supports their position. But here at the skeptics forum, we really want to get it right.

Hey, Amanda is definitely innocent, but it's amazing just how many errors have been written in the media. And if they are written once in the mainstream media, they get reprinted in forums a hundred times. It really is easy to seize on something that is flawed.

Those were cheap flights. I think Amanda was close to her mom. She definitely came from a bit of a fractured family, but that isn't really that uncommon.

BTW , the buses are great in both the UW and West Seattle. I lived at 42nd and 11th in the U District when I went to school at the UW and I could catch a bus downtown every 10 minutes. From there, there are regular buses to West Sea. You should also consider that in many ways Amanda was a very independent and industrious young woman. She attended high school at Seattle Prep Academy which is very close to the UW a long way from home. She had been finding her way between those points for a long time.

More importantly it is a sign that the main issue(s) are surely over. The few remaining guilters who confine their ad hominems to closed, strictly moderated webservices (other than Vixen and Machiavelli) don't come over here or to IIP/IA to make their slurs.

And further, make what you want about Grinder. He is annoying, but by far a net-positive to this group. He has his "issues" as do we all, and he has the decency to be transparent about them.

And, moije2, my expertise in this is no different than yours. I can read. I can spot nonsense. Every once in a while someone like Grinder finds my nonsense.

And all this is over. Deep down one can only hope that the Kerchers themselves can find a merciful closure to this.

ETA - in the end a Strawberry observed....

Now that I think about the cheap PSA fares, I think it was actually $8 between Burbank and San Diego, and $14 to San Fran on Electras, and $21 to San Fran on a 727 (all one-way). Still cheap for the time.

I never thought about taking the bus since I've rarely done that myself. The kids in my family (and the kids of friends) all get cars at 16 y/o since you really need a car here in el Lay to survive.

However, Amanda the Earth-child probably did use buses and bikes. Buses now allow you to take along your bike with you on the bus, which is more convenient. Using a bus and her bike to visit mom would allow Amanda to save even more money for her European adventure, and the exercise is good too.

Everything you said makes sense.

I fully agree with your Item 3a. criticism of how I tried to explain the cleanliness friction between the older Italian gals and the two younger gals, and your suggested verbiage would have been much better.

When I was their age I lived on a ship in a small space with 50 other guys (for about 3 years), and that really didn't prepare me for real life responsibilities since my laundry was done for me, and all my meals were cooked for me, and the dirty dishes were cleaned by others.

Of course, your 1st month on a Navy ship you're assigned mess-duty (work in the kitchen), but after that initiation everything is done for you.

We did have assigned cleaning duties, such as every 4 days it was your turn to sweep and swab your living area. No fines, just the threat of a kick in the a$$ if you didn't do it. My last year (when I had more rank) I didn't even need to do that cleaning.

3 weeks in Japan is certainly not "living away from home" as an adult. It's more like summer camp that many kids experience, or rather, much like my Navy experience.

As Schopenhauer famously said, the English are the only nation that has a thorough understanding of the immorality of lying. Many here are strangers to truth, but they cannot help it as they lack the moral compass to begin with.

So I guess we have to cut slack, given the devotion to known compulsive liars Amanda and Raff.

Who needs truth, eh, when you can spin it?

Vixen

This is my post from Amazon reviews showing how hypocritical PGP such as yourself are in constantly accusing Amanda and Raffaele of lying :-

In view of how Columbo and other haters constantly accuse Amanda and others of lying, the record of the haters in lying and defending the lies of other should be exposed.
* The prosecution told numerous lies which can be found on http://www.amandaknoxcase.com/amanda-knox-media-lies/ and http://www.injusticeinperugia.org/myths.html. The prosecution released false information to the media about the purchase of bleach receipts, the washing machine running, Amanda showering in a bloody bathroom, a missing Harry Potter book . The prosecution lied in court. Stefanoni lied about the amount of picograms on Raffaele's knife, Comodi lied in court about the time Amanda called her mother, Stefanoni lied about changing gloves and prosecutor Crini lied saying that Raffaele's knife matched the imprint on Meredith's bed. The haters slavishly defend corrupt prosecutors who told numerous lies.
* Books, documentaries and films about the case are often riddled with falsehoods. The following are examples :-
John Kercher's book Meredith. The falsehoods are detailed on http://groundreport.com/amanda-knox...arable-damage-caused-by-wrongful-convictions/ http://www.amandaknoxcase.com/amanda-knox-media-lies/ http://www.injusticeanywhereforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=1870&sid=82fc62b3185cbd71f41e0c2cd6559958
The lifetime move the falsehoods are detailed in chapter 2 of finding justice in Perugia.
Barbara Nadeu's book Angel Face. As with John Kercher's book the falsehoods are detailed on http://www.amandaknoxcase.com/amanda-knox-media-lies/
A documentary on British Television is Amanda Knox guilty the rebuttal can be found by searching "is Amanda Knox guilty youtube rebuttal"
John Follain's book which are detailed here http://groundreport.com/journalistic-integrity-questioned-once-again-in-the-amanda-knox-case/
The haters have never complained about the falsehoods in the items listed. In fact, John Kercher's book Meredith received glowing 5 star reviews.

* The haters spread lies in the comments sections of articles about the case and Amazon reviews.
Heiress Amazon review WTBH - "For starters was found cleaning the place with bleach when the police arrived". Truth: Amanda was not caught cleaning when the police arrived.
Bejamin Fletcher "BRFC are back" Amazon review WTBH - "They've found Meredith's blood on a knife in his apartment". Truth: There was no blood on Meredith's knife.
Christina comments page 7 Amazon review WTBH - "whose is the female fooprint who applied female sized bruises on MK's neck in strangulation" Truth: There were no female footprints in Meredith's room or female thumbprints on Meredith's neck.
JF Rodrigue Amazon review WTBH - " She was doing cartwheels in the police station." Truth: Amanda did not do cartwheels.
Wendy Murphy in her blog - "pro Amanda forces forget to note the knife was found hidden in a shoebox far back inside a coset at Sollecitito's apartment and that the knife had been scrubbed with bleach." Truth:The knife was found in Raffaele's kitchen drawer and the knife had not been cleaned with bleach.
* The haters have set up a website themurderofmeredithkercher.com which is full of falsehoods detailed here http://groundreport.com/new-website-exposes-campaign-of-lies-misinformation-against-amanda-knox/
* TJMK has often used the claims of people who lied about their credentials. For instance, TJMK promoted Ellie Ewing a woman who created a blog "lies my mother told me" where she represented herself as a psychologists with many years of experience when dicussing the murder of Meredith Kercher. The reaility was Ellie Ewing had no experience or qualifications as a psychologist.
* There were instances of witnesses lying in this case. Hekuran Kokomani claimed he saw Amanda, Raffaele and Rudy together on the night of the murder. Kokomani was proved to have lied because he said Amanda had gaps in her teeth and an Italian uncle. Fabio Gioffredi said he saw Amanda, Raffaele, Meredith and Rudy on the October 30th 2007 between 4.30 and 5.30 pm. Raffaele's computer shows itense activity from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm which proved Fabio had lied. The haters have never criticsed these witnesses for lying.
* Rudy Guede lied about having a date with Meredith and someone else attacked Meredith. The haters have never attacked Rudy for lying. In fact, many haters support and defend Rudy.
* The Chiefi report written to annull the Hellman aquittal and the Nenci motivation report were full of falsehoods. The falsehoods can be found by searching "Injustice anywhere forum Nenci stupid errors" and "Injustice Anywhere forum Chieffi report errors". The haters never complained about these the falsehoods in these reports.
The haters accuse Amanda and Raffaele of lying but lie themselves and have condoned and ignored the lies of others. The mind boggles at this hypocrisy.

We've consistently proven falsehoods and outright lies by the guilters. Hey, everybody makes mistakes and it is easy to find yourself repeating a lie from what you thought was a reliable source. I forgive them for that. My issue is with the guilters that post them and when it is proven false that don't accept the new information. Or they post another lie just ignoring the point.

Who among us hasn't said false things?

Was Rudy's pooh found in the washing machine? Big hole in your theory......
Acc. to Italian procedure it is now up to you to prove no feces in the wash. Why? Because since I can assert it, it must be part of the osmotic consideration.

Due to the size, the previous continuation thread has been, itself, continued here.

Anglolawyer consumed Italian wine and proffered the new version of the crime. This is where Italian legal osmotic theory applies. Rudi left his feces in the toilet. It was found in the washing machine. It was moved. Amanda must have transported it in her purse. :p. You now have to prove it did not happen that way.

Fat Chance,
Ken Dine!!!

Grinder, Vixen and most anyone else
is not ever gonna admit to bein' wrong,
in my humble opinion...

I'm a bit sunburnt, even though I'm very tan,
but with our summer sun here in L.A. out in full force, + the water temp 72°
I rode some 50 odd waves today. Heck, I even got a few nose rides, on 1 The RW was even Hangin' 5,
those 5 toes were indeed curlin' over the nose, yeaaaa!

Afterwards,
it makes me think of The Grinder,
as he always helps keep us on our toes,
ya know?

That said,
who cares if Italy uses a i
but not an y in their vocabulary?

We have proof
yes indeed, real proof,
that Rudy Guede spells his 1st name with a y!
Not an i.

Get it?

It's very simple...

Look at how he signs his name.
[qimg]http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=480&pictureid=10070[/qimg]

Hahahaha,
all you folks
were WRONG
!!!
:D

Is that signature of Rudy's from his bleach receipt? :p

Not worth bit by bit response.

No one my the name of Rudy Guede was convicted of murdering and raping Meredith. Now Rudi Guede was convicted. I really don't care if some or all wish to use the spelling the murderer prefers. The Italian court system was able to use a "Y" in Diya Lumumba's name so it doesn't seem a rule of the system only that his legal name was Rudi as far as the courts are concerned. Therefore since we are discussing the legal case I think it okay to use Rudi.

The fact that Steffi did a PP for the 2009 trial after Rudi had been caught and convicted which indicated that 6 black hairs consistent with Rudi were eventually found does not mean or prove that the police were looking for black from the beginning.

Both Meredith and Amanda had lived away from home for years. The original statement was that they hadn't.

Laura and Filomena had moved into cottage only a few weeks before Meredith and Amanda rented rooms. If there is information of their closeness or anything else of that nature I haven't seen it.

West Seattle is about an hour and half from campus by bus and parking isn't easy or cheap near the UW. It is humorous that someone claims that Amanda lived around the corner from her mother because he used to drive an hour in California.

No fines were ever exacted and the one place of Laura saying it sure wasn't clear in translation by Google where it said 5 Euros for 10 violations.

I expected some sort of fine of 5 euros for those who have not respected 10 round of cleaning and so most of the time I did I or Filomena

.5 Euro per missed chore?

Oh and in her testimony she and F moved in the place in August.

Amanda doesn't mention the fines at all. I'm waiting for Filomena's testimony to see what she says. It is significant that Laura and perhaps Filomena by then were clearly supporting Mignini and his theories including Amanda's slovenly ways.
