By the time she was in the witness box, she knew it was Mez' life blood snuffed out. So saying "Ew" shows what a nasty cold-blooded character she is.

I already knew that just from looking into her eyes. There's no fooling people like you and me.

Vixen clearly doesn't understand the logical flaws in her "argument" here, preferring instead to pursue a bogus appeal to emotion while signally failing to grasp that Knox was being asked to recall what she'd thought and felt that morning - before she knew that Kercher had been brutally murdered. Just one more example of mendacious distortion married with vindictive nastiness.

Something that continues to be a mystery for me:

Why are these pro-guilt people so obsessed, to the point where they will now spend hours and hours defaming two people found not guilty of the murder?

There are many people, accused in high profile murder cases, that I think are probably guilty. Some of them have been acquitted. I don't spend time trying to tell the world they are guilty, call them nasty names, etc.

I am completely sure that Rudy Guede murdered Meredith Kercher. But I don't spend time on the internet telling people what an awful man he is. He killed her, for reasons still not completely explained, and has been convicted of that. Even if I think he should be in jail for a longer time, or there is something about him that I think people don't know, I don't spend time smearing him or fighting to dirty his reputation. Or anyone's.

Yet here we have people who are desperately grasping at straws to smear two people using bogus facts, twisted logic, and just making stuff up. It seems really odd to me.

I understand when two people have been jailed on bogus charges, the motivation to try to change that. But to try to defame people who have had their day in court, suffered for it, but have been untimately exonerated, I just don't get it.

"Abby Normal"

You don't get it DougM, because you have a normal brain.

When Dr Frankenstein (Gene Wilder) sent Igor (Marty Feldman) to the morgue to retrieve a brain to put into the creature he had assembled from body parts of the deceased, Dr Frankenstein was very upset that Igor had brought back the brain of a person he thought was named, "Abby Normal". Needless to say, things quickly got out of hand. Sad to say, I think we're looking at much the same in this instance.

I've never understood that phenomenon either. Its not just in this case - although this case attracts some extreme ones - but I've seen similar in other cases of a miscarriage of justice, some even where the vindicated defendant is already dead!

Why would anybody spend their time doing that? The mind boggles.

They're definitely a separate subset of the population than just happening to believe in guilt in this particular case. I am a "guilter" in the context of some other cases (Casey Anthony, and...avert your eyes...Adnan Syed) and I find absolutely no common ground with any Knox guilters whatsoever. You can go back and read all 100,000 posts in this thread and I can almost guarantee not one will be from a PGP advocating the semen stain should certainly have been tested. I mean, what? I can't even process that. Then as Mignini shuts down blogs posting things he doesn't like, silences Amanda's parents with further anti free-speech prosecution, etc, they don't bat an eye. The cherry on top is Amanda having the nerve to defend her coerced statements is met with further criminal charges from an interrogation where $5 in audio tape had to go to the $200,000 cartoon fund. And nobody on the guilt side sees a problem. Amanda's obvious innocence acts as a filter for reasonable people from ever being ensnared on that side of the debate, so we never see them. This case attracts people who can be pushed to visceral hatred by a few tabloid photos and eye catching headlines, hence you get posts like this over Amanda complaining about her treatment at the hands of the police:

"Spoiled little b***ch. I haven't been so angry at a suspect since Chester Stiles. "

She didn't. Or do you fail to acknowledge what the courts just said?

Read the Bruno-Marasca report, Sweetheart.

Amanda was there.

She washed Mez' blood off her hands.

She covered up for Rudy.

They make it crystal clear the pair are malicious liars who rightfully are still under strong suspicion.

Bye, bye any hope of €'m's compo. Oh dear. A pyhrric victory.

. . . saying "Ew" shows what a nasty cold-blooded character she is.

It really doesn't. However, having a loyal and steadfast group of friends and the support of a loving family and the courage to face her lying accusers and the strength to absorb comments like the one above and the fortitude to survive years of imprisonment and face the prospect of decades more DOES show a lot about her character.

Just as being an anonymous poster on an obscure website who is always ready to display spite and helpless rage shows a lot -- but not about Amanda Knox.

The detail of the report remains unclear until we have a translation from reliable sources, but we do know that they were exonerated of murder charges - they didn't do it. We also know that the report has judged the investigation to be a sham unprofessional affair.

No, it's the other way round. Most people are morons who have to be told what to think by the media. That's why Curt Knox immediately hired a PR company to manipulate people's perceptions. acbytesla confirms he believes the Hollywood typecast, that anyone vaguely photogenic must be a goody.

Please, peeps, start using your own critical faculties. Don't let the advertisers delude you.

Amanda's innocence can be grasped by a reasonable person with a thorough reading of the Massei report.

You have been told what the report says.

Not even Bruno and Maresca could push their corrupt boundaries to falsely declare them innocent.

Kauffer, you have eyes. Read the report.

I honestly believe it has to with misogyny, jealousy and envy. Amanda and Raffaele were blessed with everything. Both had the advantages of money, intellect and beauty. They had what most people only dream about and were still in their early twenties.

I think some men hate women, particularly pretty women as they epitomize what they will never have but still desire. So they spend their energy turning them into something dirty. For many women the hatred is even stronger. They won't acknowledge the woman's attractiveness explaining away any desire men might have as the result of the women not being attractie, but easy.

I read the guilters posts and these phenomenon scream out loudly. Otherwise they would focus more on the evidence as opposed to slutifying Amanda.

But normal people, in that situation - that includes knowing that Meredith would not leave menstrual blood and not clean, since that was something unacceptable to her and at odds with her behaviour - would start to get worried that someone could be injured.

However, Knox intended to tell a story where she was not worried, in no hurry, she took a shower and took her time.

Incidentally, and subconsciously, she felt the typical, psychological need of the guilty to "blame the victim" (of something that was likely at the root of the beginning of Meredith's dislike of Knox and subsequent building of some grudge).

They'd known each other for barely enough time to experience one menstrual cycle, or maybe two if timed so that they said hello for the first time during cycle #1 and goodbye for the last time during cycle #2. Definitely not enough time for either to "know" what was normal for each other's menstrual experience.

In any case, any female can unwittingly leave traces of blood in a shower or bathroom floor at certain times of the month. Any female.
