Split Thread Conservative Voices (Split from Muller Investigation)

The fact you'd say Trump represents this tells me a lot more. It's fine if you want to label others. Even myself. However the truth is I'm a conservative libertarian that is fairly moderate. My views do lean to the right, but also left on some issues. You don't have to take my word for it. My voting history and public interactions and associations speak a lot louder than someone on a forum that judges from the above perspective on things.
And yet the way you present yourself and the sources you offer present your perceived identity as being at odds with more objective reality. Citing demonstrated conspiracy nutters and Project Veritas doesn't put you in a rational point.

Nothing against Feminism protest in the privacy of their homes.
Don't ask don't tell.

I have absolutely no problem with my wife being a feminist as long as she knows who wears the pants in this house!

Evidence that women are often their own worst enemy: Phyllis Schlafly

Reminds of a quote I heard a while back:

"I raised my children the anti-authoritarian way, and they still don't do what I tell them to."

Now, why do I despise Trump? Because I oppose everything he represents;

1. Racism
2. White nationalism and white supremacy
3. Religious bigotry
4. Misogyny
5. Homophobia
6. Climate change denial

The fact you'd say Trump represents this tells me a lot more.

Wait, what? Are you saying Trump’s policies, or attempted policies, have not reflected most, if not all, of that list?

That's not imagination. That's a little history, a little present.

If you ladies and gentlemen feel that is how conservatives or republicans treat women -- I not only feel sorry for you, but you know the wrong republicans. Disgusting.

I don't think all Republicans or conservatives are like this. The elected ones are like that, though, and it shows through their policies and actions. Take the way they are treating Kavanaugh's accusers, for example......

It's how almost every man used treat women, and some people, especially Republicans, seem to forget that when they complain that women are too aggressive in their protests.

No one said they were too aggressive. If so point it out.

What I specifically said is: I think the silly costumes, and nude yelling give feminism a bad or negative image. Opinions may vary.

What I did not do is complain about anyones right to protest.

That is how women have been, and continue to be, treated, regardless of party affiliation. Pretending otherwise does women a disservice.

Again all of this is solved by just having opinions and not turning everything into a goddamn cause or movement or tribe.

I can support opinion X and when someone else who has opinion X does something stupid or silly I can just leave it at that, this isn't that hard a concept.

Whether or not we should pass a bill funding the building of a new bridge is a matter of opinion. Basic human and civil rights are a cause or movement.

Good to hear.
But Fox and most other conservative voices have been complaining a lot about uppity women (including Clinton) for the last decades.

And that's my point.

If I'm pro-bleen and I can just be pro-bleen. If I see another pro-bleen person doing a 30 minute interpretive dance while wearing a Shamu costume, I can go "That's stupid" without betraying pro-bleenism as a concept.

I am not in some magical, special club with other people who just share the same opinions as me. They are just opinions we share. It doesn't mean I have to like every other opinion that person shares or every way they share it.
