Conscious Creation of Reality

Do you know that when particles at the quantum level are arranged non-locally, there is no conscious being observing the energy forms? In other words, particles only fall into localization (a certain localized focal point) upon conscious observation.

Where didn't you study quantum physics?

Explain to us how an infant of eight days can be responsible for being raped by her own father.

It's not a rhetorical question. Explain it.

It will be the infant creating her own reality or some such bollocks. We do get them here, don't we? I just put my guitar on the floor, closed my eyes, but I still tripped over it. So much for beeksc's theory.

Maybe the world where a girl is raped by her father is just that father's warped reality and the girl only exists to be raped by him to satiate his heinous desires.

Now you and I condemning this are also part of the warped reality because the father is not able to channel the Secret well enough and thus he did not make the Matrix perfectly warped to suit him.

Or maybe just like in the Matrix.... it is all made imperfect to prevent him from waking up due to not being fully satisfied with it all being “perfect” all the time.

 :eye-poppi :jaw-dropp

I have a headache now from all that effort to MAL-THINK.

Why didn't the infant tune into the collective consciousness and call the police?

Through exploring my mind and friends of mine exploring their minds, the terms reality creation and conscious creation has come up frequently. Recently, I have been reading books such as Ten Thousand Whispers: A Guide to Conscious Creation, Reality Creation 101, and The Reality Creation Technique. What I am coming to understand is that each individual creates his/her own day to day experience; our consciousness creates the lives we experience daily. Whatever we experience, we invite into our world. Our inner thoughts manifest as external experiences. I am learning that we have to be responsible for everything in our lives because we are the ones who manifested those things in the first place. What do you think? Are the familiar with the Seth Material?

It is most certainly true that our brains/minds create much of our reality from what we see with our eyes up to the beliefs we hold and how they change our understanding of what we perceive. I think this much has been proven by psychology and neuroscience. For starters it helps explain why so many people hold crackpot beliefs and think they've seen ghosts.

And I think it's fair to say that your beliefs about your life shape, to an extent, how your life goes. A strong belief in your own abilities goes a long way on the road to certain forms of success.

But to take it any further than that would need some additional information that I've not seen forthcoming.

Are the familiar with the Seth Material?

Here is some gibberish from Seth
"No event is predestined. Any given event can be changed not only before and during but after its occurrence. An individual's future actions are not dependent upon a concrete finished past, for such a past never existed."

An event can be changed after it happened? Pure babble from the loony bin.

Even though this is positive news, do not attempt to attack the messenger. When you attempt to lash out at me for expressing the view that individuals creates their experiences, you are just lashing out at yourself because you have been fooled into believing you have no input to what you experience. It is defense mechanism referred to as a psychological projection.

So, what thoughts did my sister have that caused that drunk driver to manifest in the lane coming towards her? How did the drunk driver manifest my sister as his victim?

I am only responsible for what I experience and what other people experience because of my influence.

That is an unnecessarily painful and self-blaming belief if it is untrue, and with that at stake it seems negligent to be unwilling to consider the alternatives rigorously.

Again, that is your belief. I believe that the life philosophy I have described is empowering.

Rational individuals do not pick their beliefs at all.
That is not how the brain works.

Pixy, I am not going to challenge your belief system; you can do that on your own.

if i created reality, religious people would not be real

You are choosing to seek out this thread.

I asked you to explain how the eight-day-old infant is responsible for her father raping her. How is the baby responsible for her father raping her? If you really believe this tripe, you can explain how it works. Not just how it works for you, but how it works for the rest of us. So explain it.

What kind of example is this? I cannot explain it. I cannot explain how the LHC works either; but, I talk about it.

Why doesn't it occur to you that your idea is completely wrong and people don't create their own reality? It seems perfectly obvious that a) no one would choose that reality and b) that everyone living in a particular area wouldn't choose the most abysmal sort of misery imaginable.

It does occur to me that this notion perhaps is inaccurate; that is why I am on this forum for this particular topic. Nothing you all have said is convincing though.

I am checking out the Global Consciousness Project.

He cannot..... he NEEDS to believe his mistaken assertion. The reason for that is so that he can feel in control. If he admits that people who suffer are not responsible for their fate he might have to feel sorry for them and being a helpless ignorant deluded child he would feel impotent about not being able to do anything about it which will give him some conflicted feelings.
So it is a lot easier to say:
It is not my fault.... I do what I do and I am responsible for myself. My XBox is because I wished for it hard enough and attracted it to me. Those other morons are not as capable as me and it is their fault for being inferior at fathoming the SECRET… if only they just listened to me.
It is another methodology and strategy for alleviating Cognitive Dissonance.

Are you making assumptions about me? Not a harmonious thing to do. Good luck to you and your experiences!

I suggest you might be reading the wrong books. You are indeed creating your own reality. Personally, I prefer to work on keeping my reality as close to the evidence based universe as possible.

I am open to that possibility; but, the knee-jerk reaction that you all have to the life philosophy I have described indicates your lack of self-empowerment.

No.... what angers me is that a privileged, spoiled and sheltered child wants to blame misery on the victims to alleviate his Cognitive Dissonance. Son.... it is ok to feel bad for the victims.... you did not and they did not cause their suffering.... try to help if you can .... but if you cannot then that is life.
Just try to not cause harm yourself and to help if you can. Just don't delude yourself and blame the crime on the victims to alleviate your pain. Don't feel guilty about being privileged.... just don't blame the less privileged for their own suffering.
Deluding yourself with woo and gobbledygook non-physics twaddle may help you alleviate your Cognitive Dissonance....but it will make you a victim yourself sooner or later and will also make you a callous dullard.

Try your best to not allow yourself to be part of a Petri Dish.

Who says I am privileged? I am not going to go into my personal life; but, I do not consider myself as being born into the privileged class. I identify with working families.

If it makes someone feel more confident to focus their will on things that they want, then I am all in favor of it. But one need not gild the lily and imagine it gives them magical powers over fate, nor substitute that focus of will for taking action.

Exactly, focus on things you want; avoid focusing on the things you do not want. It is counter-productive.

What kind of example is this?

The kind of example that falsifies your new belief.

If we are responsible for everything that happens to us, then please explain how an infant of eight days is responsible for her father raping her.

I cannot explain it. I cannot explain how the LHC works either; but, I talk about it.

You believe something you can't explain. but you can talk about it, even though you have no knowledge of how it works.

Well, that makes truckloads of sense.

It does occur to me that this notion perhaps is inaccurate; that is why I am on this forum for this particular topic. Nothing you all have said is convincing though.

Not really our problem.

If you can't wrap your brain around the fact that things happen to us that we don't control, and for which we are not responsible, and that simply wanting things doesn't get you things, then you are totally wasting your time here.

You need to go to a fine woo site where they will bolster your wishful, magical, harmful thinking and make you happy. You won't find that here; we're all about reality.

Exactly, focus on things you want; avoid focusing on the things you do not want.

This won't affect reality, in and of itself. It won't do a thing to change anything. It's nonsense.

You might as well toss a coin into a fountain and make a wish. That won't affect reality either, except to make you short the value of that coin.

He dodged this one.

Kicking rocks does not prove shall-we-name-it 'idealism' false. Good try, although a few hundred years too late.

I am only responsible for what I experience and what other people experience because of my influence.
Again, you haven't answered the question.

Again, that is your belief. I believe that the life philosophy I have described is empowering.
It would be, if it worked. It doesn't. That means that it is not empowering, but crippling.

Pixy, I am not going to challenge your belief system; you can do that on your own.
I do. I'm asking you to take a look at your belief system, which consists entirely of absurdities.

You are choosing to seek out this thread.
So?

What kind of example is this?
An example that points out that your belief system is rubbish.

I cannot explain it.
Then what reason do you have to hold your beliefs?

It does occur to me that this notion perhaps is inaccurate; that is why I am on this forum for this particular topic. Nothing you all have said is convincing though.

Read The Mountain People by Colin Turnbull.

I am open to that possibility; but, the knee-jerk reaction that you all have to the life philosophy I have described indicates your lack of self-empowerment.
No, our reaction indicates that you are talking nonsense.

Who says I am privileged?

He doesn't seem terribly pleased with our responses.

He is reading our responses - this experience is happening to him.

According to his ideas, he should be able to imagine things otherwise and experience a reality in which we are not responding to him in this way.

Utter nonsense.

Yes. You can't live in the world and actually believe this stuff, without also believing that you are insane.
