Rosie O'Donnell got her start hosting a standup comedy show on VH-1 in the late 1980s. The promos for this show culminated with her saying the boffo punchline "Golf is men in ugly pants, walking," as if this were the funniest insight in human history. To this day, that banality passed off as comedy symbolizes my dislike for Rosie O'Donnell, and my frustration with the declining quality of standup in general. Sam "Lick The Alphabet" Kinison and Bill "I'm Jim Fixx and I'm Dead Now" Hicks are dead and largely forgotten, but Rosie "Golf Is Men In Ugly Pants Walking" O'Donnell and Carrot "Any Of My Punchlines Would Require An Image Tag" Top live forever. Sigh...

William, I'm a little bit curious as to what you hope to achieve by patronising a forum where all you do is complain about the behaviour of others, all the while ignoring any substantial replies to you - and then following it all up with comics that it seems only you understand, in a thread many find useful for blowing off a bit of steam so that they don't resort to incivility in other threads?
