Comey’s shameful and despicable book

The most loathsome and despicable failure of this book is that Comey expresses regret not for his monumental mistakes that helped Trump defeat Clinton, which he still claims were the proper actions, but for not doing a better public relations job defending these mistakes, which changed the course of American history, for which Comey will now be handsomely compensated.

As one who deplores Trump, I say shame on Comey for publishing this despicable book before the Mueller investigation is concluded.

Do you really not understand what is wrong with Comey’s conduct leading up to the election?

Take a couple of shots at Trump and the guy largely responsible for putting Trump in the White House has the left eating out of his hand.

Hint: If one has lived their life in a way that one's spouse would have any reason at all to think this story may be true, that is not on their spouse.
 
It is entirely possible that, because I was making decisions in an environment where Hillary Clinton was sure to be the next president, my concern about making her an illegitimate president by concealing the restarted investigation bore greater weight than it would have if the election appeared closer or if Donald Trump were ahead in all polls. But I don’t know.

Depending on what Melania and DJT do in their bedroom this might make total sense to her too. Maybe he's made requests of her in the past, or has made off-the-cuff statements. We just don't know.

Correction: He wrote about Trump's concern that his wife would believe the story about the pee-pee tape. He wrote about the fact that the story is not so outlandish that people who know Trump well could dismiss it. Although, for most people it would be beyond the pale. That is what he wrote about and it is spot on.
