If the whistleblower was all that concerned about the illegal activity, he'd put the information he has out there and let the chips fall where they may, NDA or no NDA. The fact that he hasn't leads me to believe he has nothing of any consequence. This, to me, smacks of someone with (at most) some peripheral knowledge trying to puff himself up.

He would? So you think he is a coward then?

It isn't that the Government of the United States of America demanded that he sign the NDA, the problem is that the guy who they forced to sign it won't violate it and let the "chips" fall where they may.

I think he's not much of a whistleblower if he doesn't have the stones to violate an NDA if he really feels that there's something nefarious going on. I think he's probably in the same category as Sibel Edmonds as far as "whistleblowing" and "gag orders".

ok.

One of 'em has to be. Eventually. Probably around the same time Obummer institutes that sharia law we've all been hearing about.

ROTFLMAO!

"obummer." Classic! hey, some times we get serious too here, and it zingers like that that really help to set the mood!

Confidentially speaking, I am also known as a bit of a card around my neighborhood too, heck I've been known to crank up the VCR and laugh all night to classic Gallagher.

But not tonight, after that crack, the Chuckle Hut is reading "NO Vacancy!"

:):D

Yeah, that one was real funny back in 2009 when I first heard it. I think one of the Tea Party sites actually had a vote as to which was gin-you-wine thigh-slapping funnier,... "Obummer" or "Nobama".

Some people are always on top of the latest trends.

As noted in the benghazi thread, Hillary got busted for withholding documents.

That did not take long. First subpoena reveals emails that Hillary did not make available to the government.

I assume they were destroyed.

Nixon should have taken lessons from the Clinton organization.

Disgusting.

Freedom's just another word for nothin' left to lose
Nothin', don't mean nothin' hon' if it ain't free, no no

Judge Reopens FOIA for Abedin Records

Reacting to the disclosure that Hillary Clinton exclusively used a private email account during her tenure as secretary of state, a federal judge agreed Friday to reopen a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit seeking details about the employment arrangements of top Clinton aide Huma Abedin.

The FOIA lawsuit seeks information about Abedin's employment at State as a "special government employee" after she stepped down from her role as deputy chief of staff to Clinton in 2012. Investigators are exploring conflicts of interest because Abedin was also working for the consulting firm, Teneo, at the same time.

Teneo offers strategic communications, investment banking, business intelligence and restructuring services. And Huma was working for the State Department at the same time as she was working for Teneo.

I'd call that leverage.

here is a link to last week's Court Order reopening the lawsuit seeking emails regarding Huma Abedin's employment.

The Court reopened the case after finding that there were newly disclosed facts, namely the disclosure that Hillary Clinton kept all of her emails segregated on her own private server.

You went to the trouble of bumping the thread to type the word: "yawn"?

Jeepers.

Hey look, Sid Blumenthal shows up, trying to get hired before the Obama administration put the kibosh on that because he is such a sleazeball.

Remember when Hillary lied and said her emails from him were "unsolicited" and just from an "old friend" without mentioning he was on the payroll of both the Clinton Family Foundation and the "media matters" group.

Classic Truth Challenged Hillary.

I think bump the thread is a great way of showing an example of HDS posts.

Lots of bluster, lots of innuendo, lots of name calling (liar, sleazeball) yet nothing of value to normal voters.

Well, first off, it really wasn't much trouble. In fact, it was no trouble at all !

You might also notice, I linked to an article discussing the contents of the email from her s00per sekrit cowboy server so people who have been reading this thread could see what actual emails she was "hiding".

And the yawn was my reaction to those emails.

Yes, and do you not yet see how little it matters ? How no one cares ? How it didn't amount to her bowing out of politics, etc ?

Classic Truth Challenged Hillary.

*Shrugs*

She's a politician. I find them all to be "truth challenged"

The fact that you don't care that she is a proven liar does not mean "no one cares."

Plus these are emails from 2009 that Hillary voluntarily turned over.

We already know she did not turn all of her emails over and that will forever stain her character, not unlike Nixon's missing tapes.

All politicians at the national level (yes, in my country too) are liars. Why do you spend so much time criticizing this particular liar?

I can't answer for 16.5, but I can answer for myself if you're interested. There are degrees to being a liar. Hillary it seems is a particularly egregious liar, who has an army of paid flacks to defend her against accusations of lying and a lapdog media more interested in investigating Marco Rubio's wife's driving record than in investigating Hillary's lies. To top it off, Hillary has by far the highest likelihood of human being to be the next President of the US, so her ability and willingness to lie is actually a matter of some importance to the country and the world.

She raises it to an art form:

"Americans of all political persuasions are coming to the sad realization that our First Lady -- a woman of undoubted talents who was a role model for many in her generation -- is a congenital liar."

B. Safire 1996.

She lies thoroughly, consistently and constantly.
