Bothers me too. But Cullenz has been as contrite about it as we might hope.

Meanwhile, I'm glad to know she's stable. Whatever that may mean exactly, at least she's alive. I didn't want to go to bed tonight weeping into my Bespin Leia action figure. It's vintage 1981 and tears will smudge the factory paint.

Hope she makes a full recovery.

FWIW I also don't think it's offensive, I doubt anyone here knows her personally, but all her life she has been an entertainer, one who has demonstrated at many times a great sense of humour and who's work has been extremely significant to many people and that is how she is thought of here. I don't see anyone disparaging her or wishing her ill, completely the reverse.

The only thing about the thread title I would say is that I thought it might contain spoilers for the next movie so I didn't open it until after I'd heard the news (belatedly) elsewhere.
