Disagreeing with a company's casting decisions is on the same level as spreading misinformation about public health campaigns? Maybe for you, but not in my world.

Brie Larson not getting a part means almost nothing to most of the world, while 500,000 Americans dead because a politician decided to ignore sound medical advice and his followers lapped it up to "own the libs" is a god damn tragedy of epic proportions. I can't even fathom how those two things get into the same ******* conversation. Jesus christ on a pogo stick this is getting stupid.

Now, here's the odd part: the people who had a bug up their asses about Brie Larson's comments on diversity (which basically amounted to "Maybe some movies aren't made for the overwhelmingly old white men who make up movie reviewers, and they should consider adding other viewpoints to review sites.")?

It's not anyone on the left. It's almost entirely the same Simpson Characters that were in Gamergate, attacked Anita Saarkesian, and screamed about the size of She-Ra's boobs in the Netflix series.

Do we have any reason to think that it's not just yet another one of these balloon monkeys - especially given their ling-running habit of posing as black people or women (or especially black women) to push nonsense like #Endfathersday into the mainstream?

Why does it need to be universally agreed upon? If you’re concerned about potentially offensive speech putting your employment at risk, you can always consult your company’s HR department to determine the guidelines. They’re the ones who ultimately decide.

If any of them have a very public position with Disney that may be worth discussing. But, I imagine they don't.
