Buzz lightyear and the JREF Challenge

Ah , Paul ,...... for me it is an honour to witness a master orator in action .
I love the way you carefully analyse the issues , weigh up the pros and cons . And then deliver a scintalating and moving responce .
Keep up the good work .

Getting the hang of this pic thing , Athiest .
Here is a shot of the edge of one of these "skins" .
The thickness of the scales is apparent and an edge of torn membrane can be seen under the scales .

Time for cats!

Yes, the ground in your picture looks very much like some kind of animal skin. Coincindence? Not even close. Want to see real picture posting of a real coincidence, white aussie?

If I read your posts, b-light, I'd mention that cat pics or recipes mean: Dead thread.

But since I do not read your posts, I say: Epilogues #0000000000000000000000000000000000000028 - #0000000000000000000000000000000000000035.

Haggis recipe:

Ingredients:

Sheep's pluck and paunch, beef suet, onions, oatmeal, pepper, salt, cayenne, lemon or vinegar.

Method:

Clean a sheep's pluck thoroughly. Make incisions in the heart and liver to allow the blood to flow out, and parboil the whole, letting the windpipe lie over the side of the pot to discharge impurities. A half-hour's boiling should be sufficient, but throw back half of the liver till it will grate easily.

Take the heart, the half of the liver, the lights, trimming away all skins and black-looking parts, and mince them together. Mince also a pound of good beef suet and four or more onions. Grate the other half of the liver. Have a dozen small onions peeled and scalded in two waters to mix with this mince.

Have ready some finely ground oatmeal, toasted slowly before the fire for hours, till it is of a light brown colour and perfectly dry. Less than two teacupfuls of meal will do for this quantity of meat. Spread the mince on a board and strew the meal lightly over it with a high seasoning of pepper, salt and a little cayenne.

Have a haggis bag (ie a sheep's paunch) perfectly clean, and see that there be no thin part to it, else your whole labour will be lost due to its bursting. Put in the meat with a half-pint good beef gravy. Be careful not to fill the bag too full but allow it to swell, add the juice of a lemon or a little good vinegar, press out the air and sew up the bag. Prick it with a large needle when it first swells, let it boil slowly for three hours if large.

Serve with a whiskey mustard sauce, or tatties and neeps. And whiskey, preferably 12 year old malt.

Well , Well ,Well , what does a true skeptic do when confronted with something he can't explain ........... he does as most yanks will do , he "cuts and runs " . Weak bastards .

Ever seen one of these in your travels ?

uzz, thanks for those pics and comments!

It took me several minutes to stop laughing enough to post a reply.

Come on, mate. Even Peter Garrett doesn't believe that kind of rubbish and he'll swallow anything.

No one is asking you to believe anything , Athiest .

Last time that I looked, this web page was supposed to be a " FORUM " for discussing science and the paranormal . Unfortunatly it seems to have been turned into a mutual mastubation club for a few lowbrows .

If you were to believe anything from the contents of a few posts, then you would indeed be a fool .

None of my " outworld " experiences can be validated because they are personal experiences .
But the areas in the photographs are real . Anyone can walk out there , have a look, and make up their own mind as to what they see .

In the last pic a three toed print can be seen . this is part of a four toe set . The other is holding the other side of the object .
I attatch a pic of this print as it appears across the landscape .

It forms the basic part of the tracks in the " dreaming trails " which crisscross the world . From the scenery that I saw in the motion picture " Lord of The Rings " , there would be many examples in New Zealand .

So...sometime in the ancient past...a giant squid crosscrossed the world?

Or, maybe, it has just occured to me -- those are the footprints of the FSM -- yeGODS, Buzz, you have provided proof!

More lizzard than squid , Jackalgirl , but you seem to be getting the idea .

Interestingly though the FSM is supposed to be able to alter C14 dating results .
Do you think this is the reason that coal, which is supposed to be millions of years old ,has detectable amounts C14 . Or ,could it be that these deposits are not as old as we think .

The title of this thread is "Buzz lightyear and the JREF Challenge". Buzz, were you planning, at some point, to apply for the JREF Challenge? Do you have a protocol set in place?

P.S. Methinks that we should get you and jesus_freak in a thread together. You, by all accounts, believe in a literal interpretation of Australian Aborigine myths. He/she, on the other hand, believes in a literal interpretation of the King James Bible. Would be interesting.
