Of course science accepts that there have been floods. We see them even today for various reasons, not all of which have to do with climate. Yes, there are floods in many parts of the world, though not all, so it is not surprising that especially big ones are remembered. What an idiot! You're so focused on your anti-Bible ideology you seem to forget that there are other people/religions/histories out there:
Science "accepts" that there were floods, and it proves that there was no flood?
All of this has to do with the flood in Genesis is that people remember floods. It does not show that there was a flood that destroyed all land life except that which was on the Ark. Such a proposition is ludicrous for so many reasons that it would take pages to list them all.
The point is that even if the biblilcal flood story is based on a true story of a very large flood, that does not make the biblical story true in most respects. Again, I am eager to explain some of the reasons why. One of them relates to the Cretaceous-Tertiary boundary. Fascinating stuff, at least for a geologist.
So are you interested in learning, or do you just want to swap insults? I can do that too!
