Bumper sticker. . .(shudder)

Which blows the whole, “god doesn’t reveal himself to us because that would remove freewill” argument right out of the water. So why did people in the past get evidence (miracles, etc), even if they didn’t believe it, while we get nothing?

I really don't understand your quote, but whatever.

I didn’t limit the type of evidence. What about written records, what about eyewitness accounts, what about others reporting some of the miracles – I think dead people getting out of their tombs and walking about would be reported by at least someone else (no I’m not referring to Jesus here but the Saints that left their tombs and wandered about).

It was reported in the scriptures, which like I have said many times before, is the 'only' evidence that exists. I even gave you a link.

Very, seems as if it doesn’t exist and all those stories were made up based on a number of different urban legends and then later edited and combined.

Your opinion.

Never argued that. But Jesus being physical should have left tons of evidence in some fashion if he were indeed physical, regardless of the spiritual side of things.

And what would the evidence prove?

To answer my own question....nothing really, as the physical aspect does 'nothing' for the believers.

OK, if you don’t like that then how about irrational, or delusional, or wishful thinking, or believing in myth or fairy tales? Ahem, I never claimed to be nice. Recall where I pointed out your hypocrisy, which you are even now compounding.

I never asked you to be nice. Just don't call the belief of others moronic.

Indeed. I still can't figure out what they mean by 'saved.'

Saved from hell. Saved from having to go there after you die. Saved from evil. Saved from Satan.

Saved from punishment, but only after death, as even bleevers have to endure trials and testing, which only feels just like punishment, but is actually a manifestation of god's love for you. Of course, it hurts him more than it hurts you, thisisforyourowngood.

So once you're saved, you would be immune from evil, from Satan, from sin and from hell?

I'm pretty sure you can see where I'm getting at here.....which brings us back to the belief of 'once saved, always saved.'

Personally, I believe the 'saved' part of it is just there to 'sell' the religion to other people.

Satan, an ark angel, a fallen angel, this god can’t even get the angels right.

Absolutely true.

Can't you justify belief in anything with faith though?

Oh, alright.

Faith is merely the cornerstone upon which your belief in God exists.

It has nothing to do with justifying through faith, which by definition, would be impossible. :D

How powerful is God really if Satan thought he could take him?

If God doesn't exist, neither does Satan....

"I really can't understand how such a belief exists....I believe in God, I'm a Christian..." - To quote another poster on this site... ;)

Although there is overwhelming evidence that the New Testament is an accurate and trustworthy historical document....

What a big fat lie, if it wasn't for lying there religion would fall. Without changing the facts, they can’t back up their bible. Ignorance is the only thing that keeps people faithful to the lies their religion.

I know. The unspoken part of my statement was "If God exists and Satan exists...".

So what was he, elevated after falling, can't god once again, do anything right. Just one thing wrong after another.

Time to get rid of that lesser god.
