Browne wrong again: Terrence Farrell

I have something of an announcement. To sum all this up.

This forum has now researched dozens upon dozens of cases alleged psychic Sylvia Browne has worked on. We've gone even farther than the 20/20 special and the research they cited.

I think it's high time and beyond all fairness to now conclude that this psychic has not successfully worked on a single missing person or homicide case.

Members of this board, myself included, have only found:

1) cases that are unverifiable

2) cases where Sylvia Browne proved useless and played no helpful role

3) cases where Sylvia Browne was demonstrably incorrect

Sylvia Browne is a bold-faced liar.

26) Tammie Smith (woman with a substance abuse problem was found dismembered in the Missouri River. A serial killer was suspected because there were 9 other women killed and dumped in the river under similar circumstances.Sylvia told Tammie's sisters Donna and Brenda she was killed by a serial killer. Ya think? As far as I can tell, the murder has never been solved. )

(Man went on a boating trip alone and never came back. His mother went on Montel and Sylvia told her he knocked himself out accidentally. "One of those goofy things". As far as I can tell, no trace of him has ever been found.)

28) Taurean Lewis, Terry Canty Jr. and Anthony Collins (Three college young men murdered in Detroit, Terry's sister Dwanna Randolph went on Montel and was told some cock and bull story about it, murderer never found.)

29) Erica Heather Smith http://www.zipwize.com/gbook/ericasmith/ehs-memorial.php

(Parents went on Montel and Sylvia gave them the name of the killer and where he lives. Uh-huh. Needless to say, the killer is still at large.)

30) Sherita Williams http://sherita-williams.memory-of.com/

(Parents went on Montel, Sylvia gave the name of the killer, killer still at large.)

(Man vanished on the way to church one Sunday morning, daughter Suzanne appeared on Montel 3 years later and got Sylvia's usual nonsense. Sylvia told her that her father was dead and when she asked for the location of the body, she blew it off, saying it wasn't important cause he's on the Other Side. I wonder if she does this cause she can't be bothered or if she's trying to cover herself by discouraging family members to look for the body. )

(Vanished without a trace, no one every charged, mother Shelley told the usual nonsense but this time Browne described a vague location of the body. Body never found, girl never heard of again, no one charged.)

33) Jacqueline Elaine Nix http://www.elainenix.com/

(Mother and best friend appeared and got a name and a vague description. Killer still at large.)

Here's an unusual one:

An Anwa Abb Ford of Irvington (I believe that's in New Jersey) was found dead in his home and police ruled it a suicide. His sisters Modeyah Ford and Samantha (obituary identifies her as "Sawatha") Ford appeared on Montel because they are convinced it was a murder. (I've heard that's not unusual in sucides, that the family presses police to investigate muder.)

Also important to note that Modeyah saw someone suspicious leaving the building shortly after her brother was killed. Or thinks she did.

The Claws, of course, jumped to it and concocted a cock and bull story about Anwa Ford owing money to a drug dealer, gave them an name and encouraged them to pressure the police about it.

There's of course no way to know if he had in fact committed suicide or was murdered but if he had, she's victimizing the family by telling them he was murdered when he wasn't and if he was murdered, she's derailing the investigation and making murder less credible to the police if the family forces them to follow up BS leads.

Good grief. The more you uncover, the more I want to go to CA, and grab her by those ridiculous claws, and forget shaking the crap out of her. About now, a good b**ch slap sounds about right.

A little more about Tina and Bethany Sinclair-

Here's a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDjyt8YI4pM

http://web.lexis-nexis.com.proxy.we...b-zSkVb&_md5=3ba0f0dad13a084e1593a4a8deebd114

and here's a transcript:

SHARON (Her Sister And Niece Disappeared In February 2001): (From upcoming segment) All that we know is that Bethany did talk t--on the phone with the boy that she went to the movies with until 12:30. The following Monday, Bethany never showed up for school, Tina never showed up for work, and I think that was my first clue that--that something had gone wrong.

(Announcements)

WILLIAMS: You know, Tina had just picked up her daughter, Bethany, for her first date. But later that night, mom and daughter both vanished. Take a look at this.

(Excerpt from videotape)

SHARON: Tina was my baby sister, three years younger than me, and we spent a lot of time together. We were each other's playmates.

Unidentified Man #1: Tina was a life force, just the most--just the most powerful person to be around.

Tina's Mother: She was beautiful. She was a good daughter. Bethany, I adored her as much as I did her mom. My granddaughter, I just--they were so special. It's been a long two and a half years.

(Graphic on screen)

February 3, 2001

SHARON: On February 3rd, 2001, it was a Saturday, and Bethany had a date. Tina took Bethany to the movie theater, and then she came back into town, picked Bethany up at about 11:00. All that we know is that Bethany did talk t--on the phone with the boy that she went to the movies with until 12:30. The following Monday, Bethany never showed up for school, Tina never showed up for work, and I think that was my first clue that--that something had gone wrong.

So when we first started organizing the searches, we kind of mapped out the area. We put the red cards that you'll see in some of the trees, mapping out the alphabet so that people would know the areas that they were searching in. A lot of times, you'll see colored tape, especially the yellow tape, which is what we've put in place for the investigators in hopes that they would come and check out these areas that we found the most suspicious.

Unidentified Man #1: I struggle every time there's a search. Rips my heart out. I get up in the mountain and, you know, you're overturning rocks and, you know, you're--just non-stop. And at any moment, you know, you know that you could find something. I can't tell me--tell you how many times that I've just sat down and cried by myself, because it--it just--it's so hard. It's so hard to, you know, look and look and--and, you know, not find anything.

SHARON: The river has definitely been an area of interest in this entire investigation. The police have done a great deal of extensive searching on the river, including professional dive teams and sonar equipment.

Tina's Mother: But there's a piece of my heart missing, and nothing I can do will replace that. Whether they're alive or dead, I--I can't honestly tell you. I just wish I knew. In a way, you know, I--I ha--I still have a little bit of hope that maybe they are out there. I can't give up on it.

SHARON: I feel like I'm stuck until I find them. I'm not going to leave a stone unturned.

(End of excerpt)

WILLIAMS: Please welcome Tina's sister, Sharon, to the show. Welcome her.

This had to be really, really tough for your family. No clues at all?

SHARON: Well, I mean, we have bits and pieces of information about things that they did the night before they vanished. And--and, you know, we have some leads in that way. But after about 12:30 at night that night, we have no idea.

Ms. BROWNE: Yeah.

SHARON: They're ha--they haven't been heard from. So...

Ms. BROWNE: They're not alive.

SHARON: No?

Ms. BROWNE: I'm not accusing anybody, but do you know that most people that are lost or abd--abducted, there is someone that they know of or even in a family situation?

SHARON: Sure. Sure.

Ms. BROWNE: Yeah.

SHARON: Do you think that the person responsible acted alone?

Ms. BROWNE: Yes.

SHARON: You do? Where--where do you think he might be now?

Ms. BROWNE: I think he's right near you. I thi--I think he's not that far, or you're in touch with him.

SHARON: How do you--how do you think that...

Ms. BROWNE: I don't think this is--see, what I'm trying to say to you is this is not an unknown person to you.

SHARON: No. No. I've been two and a half years looking for my sister, and she would be doing the same for me. You know, she wouldn't leave me...

Ms. BROWNE: Don't look outside. Do you know what I'm trying to say? Look inside your circle. Do you know what I'm trying to tell you?

SHARON: Yeah, but, I mean, look inside my circle for who's responsible, but where are they? Where am I going to find them?

Ms. BROWNE: In the water, but I don't know. It's such a large body of water. How many frogmen are you going to get? How many--you know, how many nets are you going to get?

SHARON: Do you think they're still in--their bodies are still intact? Do you think they're together or separate?

Ms. BROWNE: Oh, honey, after this time, no.

SHARON: Not after all this time?

Ms. BROWNE: Huh-uh.

SHARON: D--are there any specific landmarks that we might be able to look for in the area that they might be found in?

Ms. BROWNE: You know what really got me? And I almost said to Montel, it--it seemed like that there was a cave. And when--you passed real quick through something, it looked like there was a doorway in a cave. How far is that from the water?

SHARON: Not far.

Ms. BROWNE: OK. Then I would go directly from that opening to the water. OK?

SHARON: As though...

Ms. BROWNE: And I'd really search that cave or that--whatever that is in that rock thing.

SHARON: I don't mean to be morbid, but as though maybe the--their bodies might have washed from an area into the water? Is that what you're thinking?

Ms. BROWNE: Yes. Yeah.

SHARON: OK.

Ms. BROWNE: The same thing that happened to Laci Peterson. Remember, her--her body came up.

SHARON: Yeah. Yeah, and we've--we've thought about all of these different scenarios, of course. You know, not a night goes by that I don't toss and turn and think about all the possibilities...

Ms. BROWNE: Oh, of course. How could you ever not--how could you ever really get o...

SHARON: ...of what might have happened to them, where I might find them. Do you have any idea--will we find them?

Ms. BROWNE: I'm pretty--I'm pretty sure you will. You know, and I d--I don't want to be gruesome, but a good storm or whatever and, you know, you could get--yeah.

SHARON: That's what we've considered, you know, every time there's been a good storm, wondering if that might be the time.

WILLIAMS: And that's--that's the effect, 'cause it's a lake. It's not--it's not a large body.

Ms. BROWNE: That's right, and it could whip up, you know?

WILLIAMS: And lakes can be affected that way. I gotta take a break.

38) Leanna Warner

39) Joshua Guimond (College boy of 20 vanished after leaving a card game at his dorm in Minnesota, mother Lisa appeared on Montel on the same episode as Ryan Katcher's mother, SB cold read the name of Joshua's ex-girlfriend out of her and implied she knew something and wasn't telling and told Lisa that Joshua's body was in the lake near the dorm, which was the already the number one suspected location. As far as I can tell, the body was never found and the whole case remains a mystery.)

I don't know if I posted this one but:

Salvatore Minichiello (Ex-convict just out of Riker's for drug possession shot in the back of the head at a laundromat in Ozone Park, mother Maria and sister Lisa go on Montel, Sylvia tells them it was a "gang thing" and doubles back when the mother tells her that her son was in no gang. Sylvia describes the killer and his car. Needless to say, the killer was never found. At least as far as I can tell.)

Man, I hate this thread. Whenever I come on here, it's with more bad news that does no one any good to know. :(

Frank Forte Jr.- New Jersey man of 20 goes missing after a fight with his mother. He had been in jail and just recovered from a smack addiction and was trying to put his life back together. His mother, Debbie Forte, suspected he had reverted to heroin because he was trying to take money out of their joint account. They had a fight at the bank, he stormed off and was never seen alive again.

A Penn Dot crew found his body in May 2000, about 8 months later, so badly decomposed it was impossible to tell if it was a man or a woman. They only IDed the body thanks to jewelry found on it. Cause of death impossible to find.

Mom goes on Montel and Sylvia, knowing full well she could never be proven wrong, tells her Frank reverted to heroin, was owing money to his dealer and was killed in a drug deal gone bad with a former high school classmate. Gave the name and description of this alleged killer that had allegedly gone to school with the victim and told Mom he still lived in the neighborhood. As far as I can tell, no one has ever been charged in Frank Forte's murder.

...and more bad news.

Manuel Archambault- young Indian from a Minnesota reservation goes missing after a night of partying. He's found dead a few days later and the police determine that it's an accident and close the case even though (according to his family) there was a gash on his head and his shoes were missing.

His father, Kevin, hires a private eye and appears on the show with his sister, Diane. Sylvia, naturally, says he was murdered by a, what else? All together now: dark-skinned man named Juan.

As far as I can tell, no one has ever been charged with Manuel's murder, and in fact, the police have yet to say there was a murder.

http://www.rlnn.com/ArticlesMar04/BodyFound.html

And even more.

Michael Emert- (transcript misspells it as "Emmert")- wealthy real estate agent from Washington killed at a home for sale. Body found by the owner of home, unknown why exactly Mr.Emert was there, weapon never found, only suspect very quickly cleared, cell phone and other items never recovered, total mystery. Wife Mary Beth Chandler Emert appears and Sylvia tells her her husband was, get this, killed by Mafia hit men hired by a person who wanted the house. Sure.

As far as I can tell, the killer or killers were never found.

Jan Scharf- CA woman goes missing, her husband whom she was divorcing eventually charged with the murder, never reveals where her body was, daughter appears to ask where prior to the trial, I suspect to strenghten the case against him because the articles say the prosecution was focusing on trying to locate it as evidence.

Sylvia says it's still on the property. Yes, in or around the house where the poor woman lived, which was already searched through and through.

Needless to say, the body was nevr found. The husband also commited suicide in prison without revealing what he did with it.

So much for psychic powers.

Anitra Mulwee-

http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/49380_mulwee05x.shtml

Anitra vanished on New Year's Eve was found in Seattle, near the same site as a two victims of the Green River Killer (this before he was identified and caught).

Mother Doris appeared on Montel and Sylvia told her that her daughter had been killed by a serial killer who jogs in the area, a guy named "Bob". Also dropped Ted Bundy's name about 3 times.

Her murder was linked to the Green River Killer but he was never charged with her death.
