The BBC politics output has spiralled downwards into a cesspool of right wing mouthpieces being given airtime, political 'editors' and 'commentators' parroting Tory party misinformation and QT in particular is now loading audiences and panel with right-wing plants talking nonsense. Last night Fiona Bruce dismissed an audience member who stated the Leave campaign broke electoral law, claiming they didn't. That's simply factually untrue. It's telling that of all the actual bollocks being talked that was the only thing she felt a need to (wrongly) correct.

I was also watching the BBC 6 o clock news on the election and they have taken to reporting on politics as if the audience is 10 years old. Seriously, they took the time to explain what nationalisation meant. I have seen more cerebral coverage on Newsround!

To be fair, it's not just politics. It was claimed on BBC Breakfast this morning that Paul Thorburn holds the world record for the longest penalty kick in Rugby Union, which he doesn't. My dad died in 2016 with that record unbroken, and it still is. :cool:

While the article isn't optimistic about much being released before the vote it is still encouraging. I wonder what brexiters like ceptimus will do when their lies are not just pointed out here on this forum but are also exposed during a trial? Do they have the morals needed to apologize for their tripe spewing and admit they were conned like simpletons?

No. Too much personal effort already spent on proposing and defending their position to go into reverse now. At the very most it would be pointed out that the amounts were a drop in the ocean.

You have to be mistaken The Don. Fox himself promised us, and his pals said it as well that we would have dozens of treaties all ready to sign the day after we left the EU. Given we were due to leave back in March and Fox was in charge of getting these treaties ready he has now had almost an additional 8 months so by now he must have a treaty ready to be signed with every country in the world.

I don't understand the problem, it should be simple. Just last week I went into one one of the gyms near me and told them, "You know that corporate discount you give to Microsoft for all their employees on the Reading Campus? Well I want that deal, but better because it's just me and wife using it." How can you fault that logic?

Nice bit about Alison Fuller-Pedley -the audience producer on BBCQT, who likes Britain First and "The British Patriotic Front".
