Bigfoot: The Invisible Variety

I've now looked through the catalogue of the Wild Flower Press (which published The Psychic Sasquatch). I stand corrected; it is not a vanity press owned by the author of that book, but a small press dedicated to spreading the truth about extra-terrestrial visitations to our planet--although their books seem to contradict each other on exactly what these are.

So let me spell it out for you.

Skeptic arguement:
So where are the other videos of Bigfoot, if Bigfoot is real?. Since you can't produce any more videos, (since we are too pig-headed to accept the Freeman footage), then Bigfoot must not be real.

Answer: Bigfoot is real. Bigfoot is inter-dimensional. Bigfoot is invisible most of the time. Refer to this reference material...
No, that is not an "answer", that is a "theory". An entirely unsubstantiated and somewhat delusional theory at that. How is it any better than this theory (thanks Piscivore for the inspiration)?

*Bob's Bigfoot Theory*
Bigfoot are invisible. But, they didn't start out that way. Bigfoot, you see, are people... sort of. You see, there is this mysterious disease called "Mogellons" that many people, primarily in Northern California, have come down with. Initial symptoms are a general malaise, an "out of body" sensation and strange fibers growing out of wounds that don't heal properly. What the government is covering up, however, and what LLNL has been studying all these years, is that these are just the preliminary symptoms to a very horrific disease.

Morgellons causes human DNA to mutate, causing victims to slowly transmogrify. The final stage is an invisible being, frightened of light and of contact with humans. They live a silent, invisible and naked existence on the fringe of human civilization. Very little more is known because they are near impossible to study.

However, leaked reports suggest that LNLL was studying invisibility for the DoD in the early 1970's. Fixtures and data had been moved to LNLL from Philadelphia for this research. They called in Hawking as an expert, but he quickly distanced himself when he realized the researchers had unwittingly unleashed a dreadful disease on the populace.

So, this is why the government works so hard to cover-up bigfoot evidence. Bigfoot is not a scary ancient creature or an ET, Bigfoot is humans transformed beyond recognition by government bufoonery driven by an unquenchable lust for military might to defeat the evil commies.

As evidence, I offer this irrefutable proof.

*End Theory*

So, tell me, Histo, what exactly are the holes in my theory? Does your theory explain anything better than mine? Are there things mine explains better (hint - the government cover-up bit)?

I'll pay you to stop baiting historian in this thread. :D

So now my comment looks out of place in this thread. Readers should know that I made that comment in the PGF thread and it was moved to this thread by a moderator.

I asked not to bait historian inside the PGF thread because he derails it with IBF talk at every chance. The bait provokes him to do it again.

Hypothesis: A concept that is not yet verified.

Theory: A concept that is verified.

madurobob's rantings are an hypothesis.

My allegations are based on hundreds and hundreds of field observations. Consequently they are field proven theory for those who are present, but they cannot be replicated in laboratory conditions because it is virtually impossible to get a bigfoot to materialize in a laboratory. This theory will likely never be accepted by people who hang with madurobob, since their current internet behavior verges on hysterical panic. Such behavior appears to provide us with a valid arguement for changing madurobob's computer access password, and not telling him what the new one is. If he somehow gains access, it is best to let him continue unabated on his hypothetical rantings so that he can at least believe that in his world, he has a firm grip on reality. Then, at least he has something.

Lapsertis says that the information comes via "Irene Wilson" (a pseudonym) who heard a disembodied voice speak to her with the message that the earth is a living organism, that pollution is bad, and that we have to learn to respect living things.

<snip>

So the evidence is what a disembodied voice said to a psedonymous woman who repeated it to the author of the book.
What? You mean Lapasertis didn't "hear" this first hand? You mean there is no reference of the make-believe press conference that Historian claims happened? No discussion wrt Carter publicly acknowledging BFs existence?

Now, I for one find this very hard to believe....that Historians evidence (ie. fiction) does not support his claim. I'm stunned.

PS - I'll add, YOU DA MAN! Once again, excellent job research wise!

By the way, I apologize for having misspelled the name of Jack "Kewaunee" Lapseritis. Busy day at school, and I've got another weekend of fact-checking a history-book manuscript ahead, so I was a bit distracted.

<blah, blah, blah snipped>
Umm.. I see. I have a hypothesis, you have... allegations? Weird.

I'm still waiting for you to detail what corroborated observations are better explained by your allegations than by my hypothesis. I submit that mine fits the - ahem - "facts" far better than does yours.

Once someone has made a decision on what they want to find, hundreds and hundreds of field expeditions will undoubtedly find exactly what they want to find.

So take me back, please if you would, historian. Take me back to your very first field expedition. Give me the circumstances behind it. What was the purpose of the very first expedition where you found evidence of bigfoot? Was it just an ordinary camping trip? Did you have no clue about the existence of bigfoot prior to this very first expedition?

Or did you go on this very first expedition specifically in order to find evidence of bigfoot?

Historian posted

I finally located a copy of Jack Lapsertis' The Psychic Sasquatch through interlibrary loan. Here is the evidence:

From Lapsertis, Jack "Kewaunee." The Psychic Sasquatch. Mill Spring, N.C.: The Wild Flower Press, n.d. Pp. 91-92.
Lapsertis says that the information comes via "Irene Wilson" (a pseudonym) who heard a disembodied voice speak to her with the message that the earth is a living organism, that pollution is bad, and that we have to learn to respect living things. The voice goes on,

And according to the index, that is the only mention of Jimmy Carter in the book--by the way, Wild Flower Press is owned and operated by the author, Jack Lapsertis, apparently (at least that's the way it seems from the author's note on p. 219; the book lacks a colophon and copyright notice and date.).

So the evidence is what a disembodied voice said to a psedonymous woman who repeated it to the author of the book.

From p. 218:

How about that, it looks like you might have found the source of one of Historians delusions. No doubt his other "evidence" is equally compelling, perhaps somebody knows somebody who had a voice in their head that told them Hawking was a bigfoot believer.

Right about now you should recognize the value of having rigidly disciplined field notes. If nothing else, a review of them would have greatly helped you separate your actual field observations from the dime-novels you've read.

I wonder what "Irene Wilson" would have done had the disembodied voice not simply confirmed what she already knew? What if the voice had told her to build more nuclear power plants and go to war against the neighbouring state?

This has a lot in common with UFO abduction stories (about which I wouldn't mind hearing from historian), where the abductees are taken away and told to be peaceful and environmentally friendly, that nuclear war is bad, and that they should be nicer to their parents.

Gee boys and girls, I did not rely on the pages of the book for my entire historical reference. I relied on the direct word and description by the author himself. So no matter what is stated in the book, that was not my entire source. And since Bigfoot can be a disembodied telepathic voice, the door is certainly wide open for Carter to have been contacted by a Bigfoot. Sorry to ruin your day. Have a nice one, though.

Another classic "bait and switch"; you claim evidence is someplace, folks waste their time to track it down...and what a surprise, it does not support your claim...you then pull the switch. Why list "The Psychic Sasquatch" as a reference, as it does not support your made-up claim?

Equally interesting is the author has stated exactly the opposite of your made-up claim.

Lastly, your made-up claim has been Carter held a press conference stating "BF" to be real...this hardly advances your made-up claims as anything but a delusional fantasy.

And yet, as soon as someone posts a signed note from President Carter discounting your claim that he had met a bigfoot, you discount it.

You claim the evidence of "the direct word" from your own source, but discount it from ours. I think this is a severe case of double standards, don't you think?

I have it on good authority that the Flying Spagetti Monster can be a disembodied telepathic voice, so the door is certainily wide open for Hilary Clinton to have been contacted by one. If you contact her and she denies it, even in writing, that doesn't count, it has to be a conspiracy.

I will point out that according to historian,
Carters contact with the Bigfoot is documented in the book "Psychic Sasquatch".

And I have it on excellent authority that Mr. Carter never had an encounter with Bigfoot.

Oh, please don't stop there Mr. VIP. Since you have dodged the details, please explain the following in regard your claim that you cornered Carter on the evening of his important speech and asked him 3 questions about BIGFOOT.
1. How many present at the Carter Center for Carter's speech
2. How many Secret Service
3. How long was his speech
4. Where did Carter go to, that you were able to corner him despite the best efforts of the Secret Service
5. Who else was present when you embarassed the former President with 3 BIGFOOT questions
6. Where was Carters wife when all this was happening
7. Where was the director of the Carter Center when all this was happening
8. Was there any press there
9. Did Carter answer questions for the press
10. When did Carter answer questions for the press
11. How were you able to ask Carter 3 BIGFOOT questions with the press presumably climbing all over him
12. Did this all happen before or after his speech
13. Do you have any reason in the world to lie about any of the above details

I am looking forward to your blow by blow description
