Bigfoot DNA

It's known that bigfoot-like creatures have existed at points in the past. It's possible they still exist today. Not likely, but possible.

I was once a believer cause of that statement, yup big hairy apes and big hairy humans roamed around in different forms, but to say they still exist today is just holding back cause you might be afraid of being proved wrong ?

We are a smart people and have the capability to visit other planets, we can go to the bottom of the oceans, we can map hundreds of miles beneath us into the earth, on and on, do you really think if there were BF like creatures living among us across the plant that we would not have found it by now.

Tim :)

Hahahaha....

River, You are the one passing judgement. I'm open minded and hold the scientific position.

It is possible for BF to exist.

If you take that position then you stand with a very small fraction of scientists, those that are all in the so called BF community, scientist's at a whole do not even take a notion that BF is anything but a folk law.

RRS, save yourself some embarrassment, you don't know what you're talking about and it's obvious.

It's pretty boring in here, I'm gonna go watch the Ravens spank the Browns.

Good night.

No, your fallacious argument has been noted.

Your misperceiving my question as an argument is noted, as is your continued willful ignorance of the question.

Relevant to the topic of this thread: Of all the DNA samples ever examined in an effort to support the claim that Bigfoot exists, how many of those samples resulted in an objective determination that it does indeed exist?

RRS, we just found an unidentified monkey last week.

Yes (Cercopithecus lomamiensis), known locally as the lesula, it has been kept as a pet by some, it's not new and has little to do with a 500 pound giant living in most country's around the world, see how you get caught up in the hope that BF is real ? step back and look at the whole picture not the hype you get fed with.

Tim :)

Your post only tells me you have run out of excuses and are getting upset, you feel you are losing the conversation and have to resort to humiliation.

Don't go there cause you seem like a good guy, i have been there done that, it don't work and you lose respect, if you think i am off then point it out.

Tim :)

Well Jodie, if flying amaeba and glowing orbs exist, and you've seen these, then BF is also a possibility. At least BF doesn't require a violation of the laws of physics or evolution.

The "flying amoeba" was actually plasma ball lightening that I misidentified. Only 1% of the population has ever seen it and it can look like a living organism aka an amoeba. I spent an entire year researching the subject to finally figure out what it was I saw rather than just stick with the original description. How much field work have you put in lately looking for bigfoot, by the way?

If there was a healthy bigfoot population in Northern California, I would expect my best chances to see one is visiting a National Park designated as (amongst other things) a bigfoot habitat, with a museum showing some of the scientific research on these large primates.

Large primates that we discovered when we helped the besieged native American tribes beat back this species that had dominated the American continent until then with their strength and cunning. Or perhaps that was that alternate reality, you can never be sure what with bigfoot's ability to jump dimensions.

Yes the bigfoot wars were terrible but it wasn't til the Battle of the Little Big Foot that Americans started taking them seriously.

That is a much more accurate statement. No one has said it "wasn't possible", just that it isn't so. The current scientific position is "bigfoot does not exist". Feel free to correct me on that if I'm wrong. That is also my position.

Gigantor, from your perspective of what science is or isn't, do you think the statistics pulled from unverified reports you're loading in the BFF database will have any validity at all? If so, why?

I see the possibility of Sasquatches as a living breathing animal as such - a possibility.

For me it about 99% no to 1 % yes.

To science, they are 100% NOT real, plain and simple as that.

The continued hoaxing does not help my 1%, no doubt.

Anyone else heard that those tracks found in the PNW are very probably a hoax by a BFF member? Sheesh.

Jodie and River posted at the same time as I...

I've always asked the question to myself, "Can they ALL be wrong?" <-- referring to all of the reports of Sasquatches.

"Tirademan's" accounts from old days always have intrigued me, frankly. No one lied back then, right? :)

Man i love Tirademans posts and his unbelievable way of bringing up such old news story's, he is a treasure to have and a great person.

I don't think it was lying at all back then just like we have now, just miss identification and too much folk law with the new settlers that didn't quite understand the ways of their new land.

Tim :)

How is Tirademan? I haven't had any news of him in the last few weeks, does anyone know?

I think they started loading his collection of articles in the library I wanted over there, did they finish that?

Hadn't heard that yet. Did they reveal their technique or stompers yet? Should be a good learning experience if they openly share.
