If SARS-CoV-2 is still an issue for the US in Jan 2021, then you are in serious trouble.
"You?"

Has presumptive-nominee Biden tweeted even once about Trump’s handling of the current crisis?
"You?"
The course of the illness is pretty swift, right? Short of dying of the illness, I don't see why a politician that gets the virus couldn't be back in action after a few weeks.
The greatest wish of Biden supporters is for Biden to have as little influence as possible. It would be hilarious, if it weren't exactly how their type has been letting the country get ruined for years.
Polls when Biden entered the race (and continuing throughout) routinely showed Trump doing poorly against a "generic Democrat".
Joe Biden is as close to a "generic Democrat" as we could get.
Or, for an analogy, he is still going to be in the "Front seat"- but the car is autonomous.
I suggest you go to his website: https://joebiden.com/joes-vision/
I think trying to make him out as a dementia riddled idiot with no experience in government or any ideas of his own is more than a little dishonest.

Inspiring leadership, the party definitely made the right choice here.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/03/25/biden-reminds-us-help-is-way/Former vice president Joe Biden made the TV rounds on Tuesday, reminding us why so many Democratic voters have rallied to his side. On MSNBC, he showed off his technical knowledge of government (recounting that he long ago recommended use of the Defense Production Act) as well as his empathy for people who have lost loved ones:
On CNN, Biden scoffed at President Trump’s suggestion that we should reopen businesses (presumably schools and everything else, right?) around Easter. The Democratic presidential front-runner essentially pleaded with Trump to put a sock in it and let the experts talk:
Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden says President Trump should have enacted the Defense Production Act “a long time ago.”
“It should have been enacted months ago. This is a position where we knew what is coming. All you have to do is look around the world.”
Biden displays nearly every quality and ability Trump lacks: Appreciation for expertise, candor, respect for fellow Americans, empathy, understanding of government, foresight (he warned about the virus as early as Jan. 27), thoughtfulness, coherence and a reverence for American values and spirit. With Trump, who is obsessed with his economic and political fortunes, the question is always, “What does he gain from this?”
Biden is an intelligent, responsible, moderate, mainstream politician who thinks government is important and can work effectively. Do you think that's not what most Americans want?
I see.
The vision he plans to bring to the White House in his four years is what then?
If it is little more than "a return to the days pre-Trump" then his only plank is the defeat of Trump. That is fine with me BTW, and he knows that it is.
I think trying to make him out to be something more than that is a little insulting to the intelligence of the voters.

I think presenting stuff on a candidate's website as the authentic, sincere, original well-formed thoughts of the candidate is more than a little dishonest.
The truth is you have no idea how much of what's on that page is stuff Biden wrote himself, how much was ghost-written from his ideas, and how much was written by campaign staffers based on thoughts gleaned from other conversations. For all we know, that entire page was written by an intern, from notes provided by a committee chaired by the campaign manager speaking on behalf of his boss.
I'm not saying Biden is senile. I'm not saying he didn't write that page himself. I am saying that the page is not good evidence of Biden's mental capacity, because we don't actually know its provenance.
I assume that pretty much everybody wants that, but not everybody believes it's true about Biden just because you say it is.
And that's before getting into everybody's personal definitions of "intelligent", "responsible", "moderate", and "mainstream".
When you put it the way you did, it comes across as you trying to win the election by begging the question that your guy is the right guy for the job.
My mistake. I thought you were presenting it as evidence that he was of sound mind.Distracted 1 asked what Biden's "vision to bring to the WH" is. I directed him to Biden's website. That is not dishonest. What is dishonest is you now presenting that as somehow being dishonest.
I do not. Which is why I don't take campaign websites by themselves as good evidence of the candidate's actual capacity or objectives. The truth is, the above is all irrelevant because it doesn't matter WHO created the website as long as Biden approved it. Do you honestly think ANY candidate sits down and creates their own campaign website?
Here's your post in its entirety:That might be relevant...except I never claimed it was proof of his mental capacity.
I think I can be forgiven for inferring that you meant to present his website as evidence that he's not a dementia riddled idiot.I suggest you go to his website: https://joebiden.com/joes-vision/

There is a lot of daylight between being a "hands off" executive and being a "powerless figurehead" I assume you knew this already. There is no "generic Democrat". It's a useful term for pollsters, but doesn't exist in reality.
Biden will be driving just as much as any other president has. This idea that he's going to be some largely powerless figurehead while his VP or Congress calls the shots is pure fantasy.
