That's right. He literally wants people to die from a lack of access to health care so they can "Find Jesus" before they croak. He wants to murder people to force them to convert. That's some Grade A, first class evil right there.

But hey, he's using withheld medical care to force conversions, not proactively rounding people up, so that makes him better than the Chinese efforts to shut down unauthorized churches.

As awful as these whataboutism arguments are, I know that are all aware, because I have repeatedly posted articles discussing it, that the Chinese (oops, "racist" lololol) have specifically stated that that this crackdown on religious in China is directly related to its policy officially readopted in 2016 to sinicize religion and bring it under the jackboot of the Official Atehist State.

As noted previously, this is not at all a minor persecution, in fact the internet controls tighten the noose on every single person of religious faith in China.

Shortey pleaded guilty in November in exchange for prosecutors dropping three child pornography charges against him. He said at the time that the plea deal was in the best interest of him and his family.

Shortey was arrested in March 2017 after police found him in a suburban Oklahoma City motel room with a then-17-year-old boy. Police were acting on a tip from the teen's father when they went to the motel and said they smelled marijuana coming from the room. Police accused the married father of four of hiring the teen for sex.
