Ancient Pyramids and other structures, astronomical alignment & similarity.

I had the impression that Teotihuacan was something like 100BC to 200 AD, 7th to 8th sounds more like it for longships to appear. :D
And somebody brought home a peruvian thrall?
If he brought those electric flutes they pester every pedestrian street and square with it is no wonder he ended up in a graveyard, with the flutes easily recognised inside the pelvic bone.

it was the knob on his head that gave it away

and leave the flute bands out if this
they serve a worthwhile cause

So what happens if two pyramids are of very similar size?
Can we settle for coincidence or must there be a supernatural explanation?

I am not sure, I think we have to begin now questioning 'how similar' they really are?

Like were they employed the same way?

What are the chances of finding two athletic fields on separate continents, with a 2% difference in 'actual footprints' and shapes, say 500 years ago?

they werent employed the same way, the great pyramid is a tomb in the middle of a Necropolis
The pyramid of the sun is a temple in the middle of a thriving city.

how are they in any way similar, the only similar thing is the base measurement which is based on an impossible to know measurement that no longer exists, you've had more than a week to come up with something and apparently you still arent aware of the basic facts.

do you do all your best research in this manner

now if you don't mind stop butting in with your inane comments the rest of the people in this thread are very busy talking about important (to us) but unsupported crap. You had your turn already as evidenced by every other post youve ever made at this website
:p

If things are the same in one thing they are the same in all things that's why a duck and a battleship are the same.

A duck and a battleship??
what could they have in com...

Ahhh, they are both lighter than a witch.

Hmmmm, I can't be bothered to even try to look that up, but I'd say your chances are extremely high, possibly even nearing 99 pct. Humans have been doing some form of sport or the other for as long as history records and a rectengular field of grass isn't that hard to make. Given the sheer number of cities in the world at that time I'm sure you can find two equally sized patches of grass if you just looked long enough.
Does that mean anything?

...

It says "Akhenaten, you are wasting your time."

Yeah, I knew I was gonna get that one back in the kisser...

Well done.

Where's the thread, I'm a glutton for punishment. I learn by ridicule.

But really, sorry for wasting your time.

*I find it ironic that "Akhenaten" would argue that the authors of history don't try to 'alter' the record to suit them.

No. That's data mining. If you look long enough you'll find something that matches your wanted outcome.

How about comparing the structure of ALL the pyramids in Africa with ALL the pyramids in S.America and see if there are any similarities beyond general shape.

There is absolutely no significance in the "fact" that one structure is "nearly similar in size" to another from a different time and people.

I don't know...

But 500 years ago, I am not sure Soccer was an international thing...

Oh, how big is the "Ball Court" compared to a regulation Soccer Field?

theyre a completely different shape and again served a different purpose, the purpose of the Mesoamerican ball game wasn't sportsmanship, it was sacrifice.

I'll bet the diagonals of the Great Pyramid are spot-on equal.

Oh - speaking of diagonals and things being equal reminded me of this:

in summary
apparently because youre all open minded and eat dinner every two weeks thats enough to qualify you to speak on ancient architecture, hmmm seems odd, all that really qualifies you for is as a member of a sex club
you already have the premises
:p

Pfagh! I was in love with ancient Egypt long before my first pancake breakfast, sir!

No, but some tried to erase him, or at least his influence...if I'm not mistaken. I'm really not that much of a researcher.

I just remember bits and pieces of interesting crap.

That would be Tutankhamen's priesthood then. Akh was dead at that point (long may he reside in Maat)
:p

almost as if the architect had some kind of plan
weird that

By "dead," I assume you mean "beginning the journey from this world to a better world (namely Australia)." I know the Book of the Dead wasn't painted on the walls of the pyramids, but I'm sure the section on "The Journey to Australia" is recorded in some holy text.

Tomb vs. ritual sacrifice. Amazingly similar. One was painted the other was not.
