Gaaah!

Exactly what I thought. Just shows how gullible they are.

We really need a list of hollywood camera operators who question 9/11

And yet none have...do you need a bigger clue that THEY WERE ALL IN ON IT!!1!!

On a more serious note:

I'll say, what would actors know about it?
What is it about actors that you think disqualifies them from any particular area of knowledge? Setting aside this particular area of ignorance, are there other professions that are wholly composed of people whose opinions are automatically worthless to you? I don't know what you do for a living, but can I discard the opinions of everyone who shares your work role based on this one ignorant comment of yours?

After watching the first 20 minutes, I had to stop watching due to rapid onset of a major headache caused by uncontrollable urges to bang my skull into my desktop. Just in this short excerpt we're treated to "pull it", cell phones don't work, the steel was shipped off, the hole in the pentagon is too small, the BBC jumped the gun, etc. I will resume watching once I feel better, but I hold little hope there's anything that'll change my preliminary rating of:

Four Facepalms

How about SpecialFX-coordinators for 911 Twoof?

:D :D :D Don't say it out loud, or the no-(pl)brainers may actually start such a thing

What's next, al-qaeda for twoof? :D

I think he was being facetious from the get-go, but he can speak for himself...

As for me, I'd say that actors have no special knowledge that anyone else has. It's just part of our culture to be enamored with celebrity, which is why support for any cause by a celebrity usually garners more attention for it. It doesn't matter what the issue is - if a celebrity is attached to it, it will get more attention. It's why we buy magazines that detail the lives of celebrities, it's why we watch talk shows where celebrities talk about their lives, it's why an actor might be a guest critic on a cooking competition show etc etc etc. They have no special ability or knowledge - just a recognizable name and face.

Aside from his mention in this list, I thankfully find no evidence of Henry Rollins being a troofer. I don't have to delete my Black Flag albums!!!

An Appeal to a False Authority bigger than Ben Hur!

I have no intention of watching the entire video. It appears to be a cobbled together collection of clips of Hollywood and media types who, aside from the usual suspects (Rosie, Ventura, Charlie Sheen, et al), might, at one time or another, expressed skepticism of the "official story" about 9/11 or flirted with 9/11 Truth (the latter appears to be the case with Juliette Binoche).

Aaron Russo, the first name on the list, is dead and Gore Vidal has been senile for years and I would seriously doubt that Senator Al Franken is a truther. Michael J. Fox is a puzzler for me too.

Its pretty much about 4 or 5 people like Ventura, Sheen and Aaron Russo in this video despite that long list

Actors have every right to speak out, even when they make fools of themselves.

In another thread I expressed my opinion that 9/11 truthers view life through a filter formed by their exposure to popular fiction - they believe what they see in movies and read in books is an accurate reflection of real life - governments and coprorations with on-call crews of professional killers available 24/7.

It doesn't surprise me in the least that the people involved in producing that entertainment might fall victim to the same falsehood.

That is a good point, imagine all your favourite acts declaring their 9/11 truth stupidity.
Better hope that Van Morrison don't turn truth cause who's got the bottle to go tell him he's talking rubbish:D

Foolish beliefs don't demean the art created by the artist.

I'm no fan of communists, but love Nick Nolte's work

As I pointed out in my article, virtually none of them have said a peep since Obama got elected. Why isn't there some kind of concert for 9/11 Truth or something like that? Because there's there's an African-American president talking about public health insurance.

End of story.

Several mistakes and odd career highlight omissions in that list. For example no mention of La Vie en Rose for Marion Cotillard? Also James Cromwell isn't an "Australian actor", he's an American. He just happened to make at least two of his more famous movies in Australia. People who claim to be interested in "THE TRUTH" should be interested in the truth about everything.

I admire the work of many of those people, but I wouldn't trust most of them to help me fix a flat tire, let alone trust their "Gut Feelings" to intuit what did or didn't happen on 9/11. I loved the work of George Carlin, but let's face it, he was a full-on misanthrope towards the end of his life. He'd believe anything about anyone if it confirmed his already dismally low opinion of 99% of the human race.

It depends on the foolish belief. In my experience as a former music journalist, bands singing about politics could pull it off a fair amount of the time if they were specific, but when they descended into generic conspiracism or raging against 'the man' in general, they nearly always sounded like idiots.

Unfortunately, Twooferdom is light years removed from substantive politics, which is why the real Rage against the Machine sound so much better than Megadeth or Ministry getting worked up about 'government lies'.

We have a new singer we're testing out. She's sent us 3 sets of lyrics and one of them, despite being relatively good poetically (well as far as song lyrics generally go), there's some NWO content going on.

I want to keep it all nice and democratic, I know some of the other guys love the lyrics and there are others I don't 100% agree with, but I dunno if I can justify these ones to myself at all.

I have hundreds of records with lyrical rubbish which I don't care about. It just feels different when I'm the one who has to go and play the thing :S

ETA: Nick's quote which I missed first time!

Naturally the decision to produce some work is yours. The question you need to ask yourself is, are you doing this because you believe it or trying to get a reaction. The latter (IMOP) is the driving force in a lot of these "artists".

Just my $.02
