If you're actually in a band with someone who takes that line, then it's a very different matter indeed. But if you're in a band with someone then you can presumably engage with them, influence them and get everyone on the same page. What she calls NWO might sound perfectly fine if it was called something else with less ridiculous implications.

Besides, singers would be shocked - shocked, I tell you - that one of those dumbo musicians backing them actually gave a monkey's about the lyrics. If you can persuade your drummer to level the criticism...

I'd just be doing it to let others have their say. Each of us is free to contribute lyrics, I've written 3 lots myself, and I don't really want to veto stuff if I can help it, but I think perpetrating that kind of stuff is too far for me. However, there's 5 others who might disagree.

I may have a disclaimer for myself lol, or write a counter-song :D

Fox's name on the list seems to be the result of this Canadian 9/11 Truth page... but the Micheal J. Fox on that page is identified as the brother of Jeffrey L. Fox, an FDNY firefighter who died in the North Tower on 9/11. Then another idiot truther picked up the name and added it to a no longer available video of "distinguished Canadians calling for a New 9/11 Investigation."

we also added Michael J. Fox who is named on patriotsquestion911, and we presume it is the Canadian actor

I wonder if the actor Michael J Fox knows that his name is being misrepresented in this way? Having read his book "Lucky Man" he certainly doesn't come across as a CT nut and I don't see how someone might "Presume" otherwise.

It's the same problem truthers in all professions have, they can't explain their views in their own words and instead just parrot Jones and Griffin and a few other truthers. Same old debunked talking points. It's an "appeal to authority" fallacy.
 
One of MJ Fox's best friends is actor Dennis Leary. Of "Rescue Me" fame. He had intensely personal relationships end in a tragic fire in Worcester, MA, losing his longtime friend and his cousin.

They were together when the Bruins were on their way to winning the Stanley Cup. That has no relevance to the thread, but it's still damn fun to type.

If Michael J Fox was a truther, do you think someone like Dennis Leary would still give him the time of day? Not to mention a big role in his show (That got Fox an Emmy by the way). There's no way. There's simply no way.
 
I'm holding out for 9/11 Truth on ice. Is Al Franken really a 9/11 Twoofer? I find that hard to believe.

The way I see it, having Charlie Sheen on your side is worth negative points for your cause.

I remember seeing that on Rescue Me a couple years back. The scene where Sunjata's character gives that big speech about the PNAC with all the truther bile that accompanies it. I was shocked that Denis Leary, who is the show's producer and whom I respect quite a bit, allowed that to be written into the show.

I doubt that went over well with any FDNY members who watch the show. Maybe there's a silent minority of the FDNY that believes the "twoof", possibly Triforcharity can comment on that, but if IIRC, Leary's character dismisses Sunjata's character's beliefs and downplays their importance.

A bit later it comes out that Daniel Sunjata is a real life truther and a full blown truther activist. If you ever have seen Sunjata talk about the "twoof" he is disgustingly arrogant about the topic and I would love to see him walk into a FDNY station with that crap, cameras rolling of course, so we could watch the beat down.
