Its really bad in cars too....I had to scrap an otherwise excellent Ford Sierra Estate car back in 1999 because of rust.

Did anyone else check out the Wiki article on The Sphere? They have a picture which you can barely make out with a caption that says it's the sphere and fountain being cleaned. Click on the picture and it's quite clearly some cops getting ready to arrest a whackjob who's kneeling on the fountain surface and praying to the sphere.

It says that, more or less, in the "Comments" column if you click the photo, but on my version (maybe the Thai Net Nannies Association is censoring) of the article itself, the caption reads, The Sphere being cleaned up together with its fountain before the events of 9/11.

I like the nekkid woman possibilities. No mention of a tattoo of a marijuana leaf where the fig leaf traditionally goes? (Still looks to me like someone praying... probably someone threw some clothes over her.)
