First we learned that Ahmadinejad got "spanked" for talking about more freedoms and trying to ease the restrictions on the Iranian Press...
And now this:
The cable, which the AP says was made public on Tuesday by WikiLeaks, makes clear that while Ahmadinejad was keen to hammer out some sort...
In another comedy reaction, apparently this 'organ', kayhan, has labelled French first Lady Carla Bruni, with a very unpleasant epithet.
I rather suspect from the rumours that she may have 'put it about a bit', but this seems very mean-spirited.
I can just imagine Ahmadinejad, giggling and...
We've seen his latest 9/11 truth statement. After reading everything he's said for the last few years, I'm convinced that if I would have said such things, nobody would take me seriously. In fact, I'd probably be advised to see a psychiatrist.
So do you think Ahmadinejad is really insane? Or do...
It seems that good old Ahmadinejad has overstepped the mark again. Why does he keep doing this?, is it just demagoguery or something truly stupid?.
Is the president of Iran really a twoofer or is he playing games with the western media and its propensity for hysterics?. Methinks this is a...

what a dick.
what a moron.
what a hero for 9-11 Truth.
:D
...he also discusses the fact that no Israelis were killed on 9-11. But, how many worked in the Twin Towes and escaped that day...
Well, the prediction is actually being made by Ahmadinejad, who according to Alex Jones has announced the US will attack two countries in the Middle East in the next three months. Alex Jones uses the term "military strikes".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__nNlUb3dRo
And Press TV also says...
Apparently, Ahmadinejad has written to Ban Ki-Moon and asked the UN to investigate 9/11.
But, the news source is AFP which says that Iranian state news has reported this but I can't find any mention of it. Can anyone help out?

Actually...
This just in. First, it was truthers vociferously defending Al Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden, blaming everything on the Bush administration.
Now, they have a new friend and ally - Iran's President....politics, as they say, makes strange bedfellows
'Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Saturday...
Yeah, misleading title.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad revealed to have Jewish past
Ok, so it's only a, "suggestion," and it doesn't make his anti-semitism any worse. What it does do is, as a friend of a friend pointed out, make for a great sitcom where Mahmoud asks for right of return.
Ahmadinejad has said it a couple of times already, in his "letter" to Bush,
and also a couple of months ago when Iran launched a satellite (it was supposed to "spread monotheism", whatever that means)

and now again at...
Newly re-elected whackjob, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, covers himself in glory yet again.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/8263548.stm
I recall some posters in this part of the forum make the claim that Ahmadinejad was misunderstood or his words were mis-quoted and he was not a holocaust...
He's been wanted by Interpol for quite some time:

http://www.interpol.int/Public/data/wanted/notices/data/2007/57/2007_49957.asp
Well at least now they'll know where to find him I guess. :confused...
From the CNN story:
My thinking is that even if he did fire 2 people recently, if the law requires a confidence vote, he'll simply "un-fire" one of them to weasel out of it.
On the other hand, he might also twist a few arms and run the vote to go his way which would help him get a bit of...

Something tells me Obama will be in no hurry to return his call anytime soon/
Just shows that the Iranian Government is living in another reality.
http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/2009/06/irans_disputed_election.html
While I'm sure there is some political discussion on the subject going on, considering the current protesting and violence in Iran today (as a result of the election results), isn't the subject also of note for the social...
Everyone's favorite Iranian president has been "re-elected".
Check it out:

http://edition.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/meast/06/04/iran.election.debate/index.html
In the compromised democratic system of Iran, it's good to see that a more moderate leader could still come to power. Iran needs it, as does the Middle East.
Woohoo! I hope the debates will be translated so I can watch them as eagerly as I watched the American presidential debates. It's one of the rare chances to get some deeper insight about what the current domestic Issues are in Iran. And I already suspect that Israel is one of the least debated...
Not that this should come as any surprise.
This is actually with his press adviser, not Ahmadinejad himself.

So there can be no more confusion about the President of Iran's true intentions about Israel, here are some of his exciting quotes about the Jewish state. (the "wipe off the map" quote is purposefully not included)
2. "The Zionist regime is an injustice and by its very nature a permanent...
Why does Ahmadinejad say that the holocaust is a myth? Why does he deny the holocaust? It seems that he believes that the holocaust was a conspiracy done by the jews so they could get Palestine. Why does he hate jews so much? Ahmadinejad many times has said that the holocaust did not happen. Why...
When Obama becomes President, and all the state polls suggest he will do just that, Obama should sit down with the leader of Iran, unconditionally, so he can give him the following message:
"Hello Mahmoud. How are you? Im here to lay it all out for you.
We want peace with Iran. We want Iran...
Australia's (embarassing) Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, has announced that the country will no longer attempt to prosecute Iran's Ahmadinejah for incitement to genocide. I bet he must have been quaking in his boots over this prospect.
Why do small, insignificant (by world standards) countries...
I'm not saying that that U.S. does or doesn't apply a double standard when it comes to terrorism, but I can certainly see why other countries can easily (and with some validity) make that claim. After all this administration does apply a double standard when it comes to the Bill of Rights...
Ahmadinejad's statements were quoted by Iranian news agency IRNA:
The upcoming US-sponsored Middle East parley (in Annapolis, MD) is "a trap set by the Zionists"
I know that there are already several threads running about Iran, about peace efforts, and about Israel.
My question here is ----...
An example of the principle that having fanatical religion in your "united front" is like having the Mafia for a business partner. At one time I would have said that about Communism.
Tehran's price for solidarity (NY Post)
Setting the stage.
Who controls the present controls the past...
this is really a thread to greater understand the political system in Iran...
Bollinger's introduction was that Ahmadinajad had "all the signs of a petty and cruel dictator"
however, "dictator" would seem like an incorrect label - he's a democratically elected figurehead for a fundamentalist...
http://apnews.myway.com/article/20070925/D8RS6TN80.html
Now we all know Ahmadinejad is a Holocaust Denier... But now he's trying to win over that 4.6 percenter Alex Jones crew.
