Cont: Qanon Conspiracy Theories Part Three

Looking at Google Map, Richmound, SK really has to count as being out in the middle of nowhere - Fox Valley equally so. Apparently the Google Streetview car passed through while they were there, and captured the palace of the Kingdom of Canada in all its glory :D

https://thehill.com/policy/technology/4331790-elon-musk-deletes-pizzagate-meme/

Billionaire Elon Musk on Tuesday took down a post from his account on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, that embraced a years-old false conspiracy theory about child sex trafficking after the tech and media mogul received widespread backlash and mockery.

Musk’s posts contained a humor-based sequence of images, informally known as a meme, promoting the debunked notion that a child sex ring had been operating out of a pizza parlor in Washington, D.C.

“Pizzagate,” as the conspiracy theory became known across the internet, resulted in a man opening fire on the pizza parlor in 2016.

Musk posted that it “does seem at least a little suspicious,” in reference to the meme, which claimed “Pizzagate is real” and that the expert who debunked the conspiracy “went to jail for child porn.”

The billionaire’s post was met Tuesday with widespread pushback from media and technology watchdogs.

It came just a day after Musk returned from Israel, where he toured a kibbutz attacked by Hamas on Oct. 7, with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Do fact checkers even matter anymore?

I think they do. Just like windshield wipers can't stop it from raining, but they can help to wipe it away for a second so that you can see out of the window just enough to see where you are going. In the same way, fact checkers cannot stop people from spreading misinformation, but they can point it out when it happens, and explain what the actual truth is.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...aid-pizzagate-is-real-fact-check/71752818007/

Of course, this makes no difference for the willfully ignorant, but you can't help fools.

Another instance of "there MUST be some evidence, because otherwise we are obviously guidable morons who will believe anything someone we like tells us".

Michael Flynn is going after Esty tonight on Twitter claiming they're using pizza as code for child sex trafficking, and also promoting Satanism. His big problem is they won't carry his Jesus crap.

So pizza is still a code for pedo types, in Qanon.

~3 billion pizzas are being eaten in the US each year.
I think not even the most dedicated Cabal of child traffickers could keep up with that pace.

What do they order if they actually do want pizza?

On the TV show "Weeds" the oldest kid was selling "head" cheese sandwiches as code for weed, until someone actually wanted to try the very popular head cheese and was confused by what he got.

I remember a movie in which some guys were using a pizza parlor as a cover for a gigolo service, with a pizza they assumed nobody would ever order being code for their services. Something like extra anchovies, extra black olives. Then a woman ordered one for herself and her children.
Checks Google ... Loverboy (1989).

You're leaving out the best part... she opened the door wearing just a bikini, so he assumed it was on, but what he didn't see was her husband and kids in back having a pool party.

I recently came across a video on YouTube titled "I Was Sold Into An Elite P*dophile Network" from a channel called Unfiltered Stories and I don't know what to make of it. I wanted to ask for other opinions. While I don't see any obvious red flags, at the same time I see no way to independently verify what this woman is saying. She claims that it was a Mafia-like organization run by gangsters and also involved aristocrats and politicians.

I'm posting it here because while it doesn't directly relate to QAnon, it does seem to lend credence to the idea that "elite pedophile networks" are a real thing, and if they exist in Europe why not the USA too.

1. Nobody here disputes the existence of such networks within the US. Everyone on this board knows about Jeffrey Epstein, and a few others of his ilk.

2.I watched that video. Not one mention of PIZZA or coded messages.

3. Qanon believes in a cartoon world that ignores factual information, and instead invents its own mythologies about how "pedophile rings really work". Yes, we make fun of this because it is obviously stupid, but it's also dangerous as actual networks continue to thrive. In part due to Qanon disinfo accepted as fact by a few people who should know better.

4. In Qanon's world view, all liberals, and everyone in Hollywood, and the Jews are all raping children at their leisure, and drinking their blood. You posted a video of a woman who told her story, and named a few names. Qanon has yet to do this. For five years they Qanons tell us there are arrests coming, yet they never do. In the same time, the FBI and DoJ have made hundreds of arrests for sex trafficking and child-sex trafficking, and these people have been convicted. Yet Qanon seems to be unaware of these real-world arrests.

5. The evil of Qanon is that they'll take real stories as the one you've posted, and twist them to accuse innocent people of such crimes. That's the problem we're dealing with here. Qanon accuses people of pedophilia not because of facts, but because they don't like them.

I didn't watch the video. I... just don't see much reason to watch it, honestly. Let the authorities investigate and potentially prosecute if they find appropriate evidence, but I don't really need to fill my psyche with that. I'm much in agreement with what Axxman300 said from the start. To add to that a bit, personally, I consider Qanon to serve more as a defense of such pedophile rings than anything else, as it reduces such more to the realm of farce and nonsense and seems to redirect the accusations and attention towards people who are especially unlikely to be part of such. When that redirection is being done BY convicted child abusers/pedophiles, that's all the more glaring. As a bonus for the pedophiles, though, they can resort to the martyr/it's all political excuse if caught, because they're already manipulated their target crowd's biases and preconceptions.

It displeases me to inform you that QAnon is still alive though it has never been well, and it is still getting people killed and turning people into killers.

In Florida, an entire QAnon family plotted to lure another neighborhood family into their home and kill them all, because they had become convinced this other family were secretly pedophile cabal members. The target family became suspicious and called police instead, who upon walking into the QAnon family's house were ambushed instead. One police officer was killed, two others were wounded, and during an ensuing standoff the father and two adult daughters committed suicide. The mother had been arrested at the other family's house, prior to the ambush, and remains in custody on a litany of charges.

As you can imagine the house was stocked with a arsenal of over 20 firearms, ammunition, body armor, associated sundries, and of course reams of conspiracy fliers and literature.

It stops being funny when it's a QAnon cop:

"I found out that it wasn’t just district attorneys, I found out it wasn’t just judges. I found out that it went a whole lot higher than that," he insists in one podcast interview.

Taylor claims to see connections no one else can see.

In one video, he shows a sketch of connections he imagines between former President Barack Obama and several Tennessee political figures in what he claims is some sort of illegal plot.

"These people right here, on the top of this list, should absolutely 100% be in Gitmo, facing charges," Taylor declares.

This next one is the CTist's creed:

And when he strikes out, like in one video looking at property supposedly linked to Bill Gates, the lack of anything suspicious is a reason, in his mind, to be suspicious.

"Nothing that really looks suspicious," Taylor says as he examines images from Google Earth, "and when I don’t have anything that looks suspicious, that makes me think something's up."

This clown has a badge.

This is a follow story by the local news station. This guy is off the hook - nuts:

Sounds like it's about time to give him the opportunity to claim that he was fired for getting too close to the truth.
