It's no surprise that Qanon caught on with MAGA CHUDs.

What is a little more interesting is the seeming appeal to California crunchy types, like yoga, wellness, and alternative health influencers that might normally be thought of being more likely to be politically liberal.

This piece discusses the seeming popularity of our current brand of mystical fascism among this population

Back in the 1990s I attended a UFO Discussion group once a month. The folks were evenly divided between right and left.

I think of it as the naturalnews.com crowd. The kind that started out railing against Monsanto and rainwater collection policy, with a helping of chemtrail woos, and ultimately became hijacked into an extreme right wing faction, leaning hard into Birther nonsense and adopting pretty much any anti-government conspiracy that came along. Except when Republicans controlled the presidency, Senate, and Supreme Court--then the government was still the enemy, but somehow the Democrats were controlling everything anyway and were still the ones that needed to be opposed.

That's because yoga, wellness, and alternative medicine have always been, at their core, "woo". Their common ideological thread is a distrust and dismissal of science, evidence, and modern medicine, not any sort of social politics.

Mostly agree.

Wellness started out as a good thing. Who would disagree that the wellness of your fellow human is or is not a good thing? Then the woo crowd jacked it and folded it into the "spiritual" nonsense. The definition of "wellness" at this point is useless. Balancing your chakras is now part of "wellness". Those do not exist. The people promoting it know it is not real. But they have glommed onto the term as though it means something. It doesn't.

I was under the impression that yoga was much more about stretching, basic muscle maintenance, and pointed mental relaxation, personally. But then, I will admit that I haven't looked into any sometime attached beliefs to it.

That's Hatha Yoga, if you stick with that you can avoid most of the woo.

Sure, but this newfound militancy that goes along with being a Q crank seems like a new dimension. I suppose there was always a bit of that when you factor in more strident parts of the anti-vax community, but it does seem strange to see crystal and yoga instagram influencers becoming so interested in the Q death cult.

FBI concerned Q-nuts to get nuttier.
A new federal intelligence report warns that adherents of QAnon, the conspiracy theory embraced by some in the mob that stormed the U.S. Capitol, could target Democrats and other political opponents for more violence as the movement's false prophecies increasingly fail to come true.

Many QAnon followers believe former President Donald Trump was fighting enemies within the so-called deep state to expose a cabal of Satan-worshipping cannibals operating a child sex trafficking ring. Trump’s loss to President Joe Biden disillusioned some believers in “The Storm,” a supposed reckoning in which Trump’s enemies would be tried and executed. Some adherents have now pivoted into believing that Trump is the “shadow president” or that Biden's victory was a sham.

The report was compiled by the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security and released Monday by Sen. Martin Heinrich, a New Mexico Democrat. It predicts that while some QAnon adherents will pull back, others “likely will begin to believe they can no longer ‘trust the plan’ referenced in QAnon posts and that they have an obligation to change from serving as ‘digital soldiers’ towards engaging in real world violence.”

Well of course.

All a reporter needs to do is ask these morons if violence is coming and they are happy to predict it. The delusions about Trump coming back to office in August should make for an interesting late summer 2021.

Three percenter at Trump rally warns of future violence

Plenty of them are a bit miffed because Trump is publicly announcing a publicity tour with Bill Oreilly. Q cranks are wondering how Trump will have time to tour the country when he's imminently going to be reinstated as the president and presumably be busy ordering the executions of all the deep state sickos and traitors.

Yep. It's amazing how exactly like every other conspiracy theory this is. Real-life action is always just around the corner. We saw this for years, that the new 9/11 investigation was going to happen and reveal all of the traitors, which would then be hung etc.

And new info is just around the corner proving that the GOvernment is covering up UFO's visiting Earth.(We just saw that with the exctiement over the just released Pentagon report on UFO,s which ended up saying there was no proof of UFO's visiting Earth).
Or that new dynamite infomation about the JFK assination is soon to be revealed.
Yup, every there are new and earth shaking revelations just around the corner for every Conspiracy theory. Part of Conspiracy Theory DNA, I suppose.

But, humor aside, that a few Qanon's might turn to violence is cause for concern. Yes, I know that 99% of those who talk about violence are full of Hot Air, and there chances of overturning the goverment are about zero, but the few who do turn to violence can kill or hurt a lot of innocent people. They need to have a eye kept on them by the Feds.

All you so-called skeptics, it’s time to eat some crow. The Storm is happening! The Clinton Foundation and its CFO, Andrew Kessel, were just indicted by a grand jury…. ah… hmm… (squints at news page)… Sorry, I guess that was the Trump Foundation and its CFO Allen Weisselberg that were just indicted. Never mind.

Nice way of guarantteing that law enforcement is going to be keeping an eye on you.

Feds, probably. Local cops, lol no.

Local cops continue their hands off approach to right wing political violence. Proud Boys continue to throw violent street rallies and commit broad daylight assault without interference from local police departments. Proud Boys that weren't arrested for the Jan6 attack remain extremely active and belligerent on the West Coast.

Cops and klan, hand in hand. Same as it ever was.

That's what ((they)) want you to think.
*snort* As if anyone called 'Weisselberg', sorry, ((Weisselberg)), would ever be convicted by the Rothschild-owned US judiciary.
Obvious fake false flag news fed to you by the FSM!!!
Sorry, MSM. Those lizard mind-control rays are messing with my mind.

Wasn't the 4th of July one of the Q dates for Trump's reinstatement? It's hard to keep track of all the failures. Oh well, on to the next.

They never meant this July.
Get back in 100 years and Biden will totally no longer be President.

Hey it is POSSIBLE that someone will create an immortality drug in the next twenty years and inject the Prez. While wildly improbable and implausible it is still possible! lol

More likely they'll just wave some orange leather around and call it a president, much like they did in 2016.

Brain Drug is amazing. Enough said.

I cannot imagine how my life would ever work out such that I would be photographed in front of a board like this. I straightened the photo and boosted the contrast, but I still can't make out the light green writing on the right side.

Is that supposed to be a list of Trump's top supporters? Project Veritas with an arrow to Trump, Dinesh D'souza with an arrow to Trump, Brick with an arrow to Trump. Brick??

Seeing Paula White-Cain right under Trump's chin there reminds me that Journey is playing Lollapalooza this summer.

Jesus (at the top and underlined) with an arrow to Trump. Why would he need anyone else?

ETA- on the "brick" thing, it looks like it says "suit brent" (all capitals) underneath. My google-fu led me to this story (at The Hill) about some loon in Pennsylvania who wore a brick-patterned suit to a Trump rally and was called up on stage to shake hands with Trump. His name wasn't "Brent," though, it was Blake, so, I don't know- Lindell is not just a nutjob, he's an incompetent one?
