No, no... I forgive you. People don't like to be told they are racist, when they firmly believe they are not.... but everyone is. Obviously this doesn't put you on the same level as Mr. Sterling.

I do not agree that everyone is racist, so please feel free to provide the evidence to back up your claim (although perhaps this is fodder for a different thread). For you see, I know I am not racist, and unless you're prepared to define "racist" as something akin to original sin ("we're all born with it" type of nonsense), you really don't have a leg to stand on here, not without even knowing me.

Actually. Maybe I'll revise myself and say 95% of people are racist.... including most people who say they are not. So without examining your life and puting you into several controlled real word tests (I would have to think about what those tests would be).... I cannot confirm if you are racist or not.

I'll accept that, although I think your 95% estimate is way high for any practical definition of "racist." On the other hand, I agree that whatever the true percentage may be, it's vastly too high.

Sterling's political affiliation is irrelevant because liberals will rebuke him regardless of which end of the spectrum he leans towards. Proof of that is in this very thread.

Conservatives, on the other hand, will defend one of their own at all costs. Proof of that is in this very thread.

If you really want to advance the discussion, you could address that argument instead mindlessly bleating "Sterling is a Democrat!!11!" over and over.

I make it a point to try and observe it in most everyone I associate with.... from at least since I was 18 years old.... and literally... my experience has been, you observe ANYONE long enough, you will observe racist behavior.... or if not so much racist... at least speaking very ill of certain groups culture (which can be a fine line).

1. In 2009, NAACP presented Mr Sterling with an award.

Slight correction - by a local chapter of the NAACP. The local chapters (and there are a lot of them) have been known to disagree with the national NAACP one in a while, and to occasionally do something nutty (eg. complain about talking Hallmark cards on astronomy that say phrases like "black holes").
