Merged The Suffering of Anders Breivik

Already a thead on this.

But hey, no one, not even Breivik, would call the PS2 sucky. There's some great games on it.

But yeah, my guess is he wanted to play shooters too.

The PSX and 2 had the best PS games, and oh look. The PS2 is the only one that's backwards compatible.

He's not just whiny, he's stupid.

But in Breivik's case I would argue that isolation, for now at least, is reasonable - he has, after all, said that he intends to use prison as a recruitment ground for new anti-Islamic terrorists. I'm not sure if he really expected that they'd let him into the general prison population after that.

Apparently he was building a nice clan/cell on PlayStation Network, but they booted him for keep calling them "FragFags."

I know Norway doesn't have a death penalty...and that's cool.... But shouldn't we be able to just put a noose hanging in his cell... with a rickety stool he can stand on to help get up.... you know just in case he has a bad day.

Y'know, Caper, I proposed that as a general prison policy back in '94. Cough cough.

Funny enough, I remember there being talk about how Anders played Dragon Age II, in which he sided with a character named Anders who became a terrorist for his cause. It was released on the PS3, not the PS2. They even allegedly look similar. It was also really bad game, but that is neither here nor there.

I don't know if this was just an urban legend on gaming forums I was on, or it there was truth to it. But I have just decided that everything is DAII's fault.

There´s probably also the factor that at least some of the general prison population, even if they are violent criminals, might take a dim view of Breivik´s deeds, and would appreciate any opportunity for Norway´s lack of death penalty.

I don't see the part where it says he cried when it was taken off him. Perhaps you could point it out?

From the Guardian article:
"the youngest of the seized crew, Arthur Batchelor, 20, who said in an interview on his release that he had his iPod taken from him"

So Arthur Batchelor said it happened and the First Sea Lord seems to believe him. Why the reluctance to countenance it? At this point it seems rational for skeptics to provisionally accept it as true.

...the sentence you quoted says nothing at all about "crying." In the absence of any evidence, in fact in the absence of any allegation, and considering the person who made the initial claim has now stated that he/she had no source at all, it would be irrational to provisionally accept an unsourced piece of speculation as true.
