Acquittal on everything but as a salve to the prosecution a conviction for time served on 'altering the crime scene' for the 'bathmat boogie' and Raffaele trying to break down the door.

I'm not sure it is faith in the system as it is faith in that there is no case. That Nencini would have to ignore the facts in the case.

I admit I don't know the result. But I do know the facts are on Amanda and Raffaele's side. We'll see if that matters.

It was a good plan until they dropped the swab. Immaging the uproar if they went to court and the only piece of evidence linking the suspect to the murder room had touched the floor and possibly been contaminated.

As I said previously my daughter spent 10 months in Dakar, Senegal for her year abroad; she stayed in student accommodation on campus initially but became friends with a girl from Long Island, NY, before coming home for Christmas 2008 she said they wanted to find shared accommodation and my wife and I we were nervous to say the least, we didn’t know this young lady but ultimately it was our daughters decision. To cut a long story short my daughter attend her friend’s wedding in 2011, visited last year to see her baby. I have no doubt they will remain life-long friends, all this stemmed from their year abroad in Africa.

So on the occasions I have seen Mrs Kercher I am left with this feeling of “there but for the grace of god, could go I.”

I know you weren't following the case and probably didn't read it at the time. I'll bet stories are written ahead of events all the time anticipating an outcome and when the event occurs the media outlet publishes one. In this case they published the wrong one but most of the story inside was accurate, it just wasn't a big deal or indicative of anything but being ready to be first to publish.

Papers have obits ready to go for many people that are alive and well, so what?

The jury all comes in wearing a **** happens shirt (Foxy Knoxy 2014 tour)
6yrs strong. Only instead of the funny (blob) face used in Forest Gump they use a picture of the footprint from the bathroom mat.

I think Perna and Maresca are in the same firm. Stephanie has had Perna as her attorney from the beginning of the case. I think the addition of Fabiani is recent.

I'm not so much worried about the roommate. But if the roommate's family members happen to be a bunch of emotive, needy, vindictive folks with low critical-thinking skills, then they might be bad people to deal with in the event that something happens to said roommate.

BTW, you are lucky, because there a lot of folks on LI who match that description.

All good. I am hoping Nencini directs that the investigation of Lumumba be reopened on the grounds set out in Matteini's 08 Nov 2007 decision. I still don't think we got right to the bottom of his role in the affair. On the T shirt idea they might walk back into court wearing 'All you need is love' shirts and broad smiles and acquit. :)

ETA what would be really funny (not) would be if they upheld the theory of that guy who refused to speak to me anymore - er, Sherlock - and it turned out they were all involvementers.

Which raises the question, if Meredith came from a family of 15 siblings would the ILE allow 15 attorneys?

Acquittal, followed by a brawl amongst lawyers for the prosecution. Accusations fly. Everyone vows to sue everyone else. Nencini calls Perugians dumbasses for not planting enough evidence. Infuriated, yet determined to preserve his dignity, Maresca mounts his motorcycle. As he drives away, his toupee flies off.

Those obits don't have events that didn't happen. They are bios, Not reporting of the events that occurred on the day of their death.

Such and such passed away on XX/XX/XXXXX. They were born on XX/XX/XXXX and well known for their xxxx, Not that their families were inconsolable and actual quotes from their family members on the day of their passing.
