No, not if you ever met any of these footers in person, you might develop a different opinion after that.
Yeah like when Meldrum met Freeman...

A meeting of the mind?
.......It's evidence of something........
Wow, those are folk art masterpieces. Please tell me Meldrum has none of these in his "yes" collection.
One of the Brits on our smaller bigfoot forum shared this evidence straight from Sykes lab. It's evidence of something.

He is supposed to have about 200 casts in his collection. We never hear anything about any of them being declared fake by him. He certainly does have Wallace fakes in his collection and speaks of them as authentic.
If the carved wooden track-makers were used a lot they would probably abrade and change somewhat over time. Wallace seems to have carved some toes with rounded bottoms that probably become more flat and squarish with wear.
And if Wallace was selling carved foot souvenirs then all sorts of people may have hoaxed using his alderfeet.
Meldrum's rationalizes the Wallace stompers were based on Titmus' castings of authentic Bigfoot tracks, instead of Titmus' Bigfoot tracks formed by Wallace stompers.
I used to think that the people best equipped to evaluate bigfooty claims were wildlife biologists like me; now I realize that people who specialize in personality profiling are in a much better position to call a spade a spade when it comes to bigfootery.
But the tactics they use are all exactly the same whether it is a garden variety narcissist, an emotional vampire, a snake in a suit, or a serial killer. All that differs is their objective. It might be the cheap thrill of manipulating you into responding to a trolling post, or it might be to kill and eat you.
Interestingly, these personalities and characters are intentionally replicated in 'pro wrestling' which is fantasy stage performance. The audience (who are essentially believers during the match) want and need heroes and villains to make a fantasy world. Bigfoot hoaxers and liars fill these niches knowing that even a poor transparent attempt will be acceptable.
Bigfoot hoaxers don't need to be anywheres near excellent - they only need to be there.
Kaufman achieved what nobody else could: to simultaneously entertain people who knew it was a hoax, while at the same time drawing in the regular pro wrestling fans. There was a genius there that we have not seen in bigfootery to date.
I think maybe the Georgia Boys Bigfoot In A Freezer was this. There were Bigfooters who did seem to believe it was (going to be) real until the face was revealed. Loren Coleman appeared to believe and promote it even after seeing the photo before it was made public. He then rapidly back peddled. But I don't think any skeptic or denialist ever thought it would be genuine.
I wouldn't call that hoax genius but it did work to a certain extent. The membership at the BFF increased tremendously right away. I think they got many hundreds (thousand?) of new folks on board in just less than a week. The traffic blew up so much that they had to take drastic steps to keep the forum running.
I'm no comedian like Andy was, but it would have been nice if they had given their bigfoot an enormous schlong or something. It could have had the skeptics rolling on the floor laughing while at the same time sending the 'footers off to open up an institute for bigfoot weiner studies.
