I have no idea why Foolmewunz decided to describe this particular collection of unimpressive guesses as "a bunch of clear winners" but I knew as soon as I read his post that you would seize on it as vindication of everything you've been claiming and keep coming back to it like a dog to its vomit for as long as you continued to post on this thread.

How many PMs from lurking believers have you had so far, by the way? I'm guessing

None at all.
 
What is "The View" anyway, and what are the posters who live outside the USA supposed to tune into?

So, he admits he knows my story is a good one and some who are inclined to believe this stuff may believe it.

1. Even though the question got AAH-ed once, I STILL want to know what JE's act has to do with "proof" of "life after death".

2. I believe you are disingenuously (at the very least) doing Foolmewunz an injustice. Please note the use the qualifier: the phrase, "clear winners" is modified by the parenthetical phrase, "(for people who believe anecdotes on the internet with no supporting evidence)".

3. That some who "are inclined to believe this stuff may believe it" does NOT provide information about "this stuff" (JE's act), but about the kind of person "inclined to believe" in the "stuff" even in the face of contrary evidence and reason.

4. It is, in fact, suspicious (at least to me) that the goal posts keep getting moved.

5. Of course, YMMV..

I note that Robin's tendancy to interpret anything said in the way that best suits her own purposes continues to apply to posters here as well as to John Edward.

I also note that she ignored my question about the number of supporting PMs she's received.

Doesn't really matter, since her PM challenge was something of a goalpost move. The original question had to do with how many people were swayed by Robin1's free-flowing anecdotes, not how many just held some independent belief in afterlife or communication with the dead.

But then again, that is the power of misrepresentation that Robin1 so richly enjoys.

Agatha, The View is a popular American morning talk show. It really doesn't matter if you can't see it 'cause as my brother said there were no stupendous JE trademark hits that we would offer here as proof of life after death. We don't even know if they are gonna air our portion. The message JE asked me to deliver is sure to ruffle some feathers here and as such I selfishly recommend nobody watch it anyway!

Actually, we were kidding, we never won tickets to the show...I mean really, what are the chances we would actually be 1 of 100 picked out of a whopping 20,000 entries! People who believed that musta been high on pina coladas! Yeah, that's it...kidding...no show for you to watch - move along now, everyone. Let's go see what flaccon's up to!

And I point out yet again that JE's trademark is firing out rapid scattershot Barnum statements until he happens to say something which resonates with someone, not "stupendous hits".
 
I'm a lurker-as you can see by my post count. And I'm not in the least bit swayed.

Not even a tiny bit.

In fact-if I did have any niggling doubts-this thread has completely dispelled them. All I've seen is goal post moving, a lot of woo and anecdotes.

No proof.

Well, I'm not a math expert, but I think your odds were 1 in 20,000. Wait, if they pick 100 out of the 20,000, would the odds then be 1 out of 200? :eek:

In any case, you (Robin) are more likely to get picked by JE to be in his audience than a total stranger, because he already knows so much about you.

As always, being the true skeptic that I am and always will be, I would not accept anything potentially knowable (in any way, shape or form) to JE as proof - Including anything I've ever written here or on my blog etc.

And I've said that before too.

P.S. Sorry, it's on now - I was out before. It is the episode where he starts out with his back turned and I told you I remembered that later on when he turned around what he said is verified - remember the anchor? I was right. Gonna watch whole thing when I have time.
