As an aside but not OT, we sometimes hear the phrase "body of work" when the mods are doing their nefarious (mis)deeds. Here I'd like to recognize and applaud asydhouse for his "body of work" in this thread. Well, done, mate!

It's been a long time since I was a newbie. I saw someone say the other day that a new member only gets access to the private message (PM) system when they hit 50 posts. Could someone confirm?
Also, scrappy might not know what you meant by "PM".

Should be easy enough to do; most home printers these days include scanners. Or take a photograph on a digital camera. Flaccon seems to use Wind'oh!s so getting a scanner should be easy peasy. Same goes for Mac, most scanners work out of the box.
On most, if not all, GNU/Linux platforms HP scanners and print-scan-copiers work out of the box if you download and install HPLIP, which is an executable so it shouldn't be too difficult for anyone no matter what platform they use to scan in a letter.

Why would she need to buy a scanner? She's already been able to get pictures of purported blood stains on her site.
